The atmosphere is genuinely good and the space is well designed. The food presentation is excellent—everything looks impressive when it arrives. That said, the taste doesn’t live up to the hype. Overall, the food was average. While the garlic roti and tandoor roti were well made, and the biryani was decent, nothing really stood out in terms of flavour. Service was just okay—not bad, but nothing memorable either. In short, it’s a visually appealing restaurant with a nice ambience, but if you’re going purely for taste, it doesn’t quite justify the reputation or expectations.

We had a great experience at Cinnamon Kitchen in Battersea. We ordered the mixed grilled plate along with lentils and paneer: everything was cooked beautifully and packed with flavour. The food overall was excellent, and the vegetarian dishes stood out just as much as the grill. Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and stylish, making it a really enjoyable place to eat. Other diners also mention the consistently high quality of the food and the welcoming service, which matches our experience. Highly recommend!

I went to Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea with my friends for my hen party brunch, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Kranthi, was friendly, attentive, and really made sure we had everything we needed. The brunch itself was fantastic value. We enjoyed dishes like hummus, beetroot, and Bombay eggs with prata (with the option of extra bread for a small charge). For mains, I had the salmon curry and lamb Rogan Josh, served with pilau rice, black lentils, and a bread basket full of fresh, piping-hot naan — some of the softest and tastiest I’ve ever had. The gluten-free ginger toffee pudding for dessert was a real highlight, and the pistachio coffee was the perfect finish. Drinks and the 12.5% service charge for large groups were additional, but we still left an extra tip for Kranthi because the service was excellent. The location is also a huge bonus — it’s right by the river, next to Megan’s at Battersea Power Station, with a free picnic area, a lovely river walk, and all the shopping inside the Power Station. It makes a great spot not just for celebrations, but also for families, couples, and friends to enjoy a day out. I’d highly recommend Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for its food, service, and unbeatable setting.

We were torn between an afternoon tea at Cinnamon Kitchen, or going to Dishoom - and I’m so glad we decided on the afternoon tea at Cinnamon Kitchen! The food was incredible quality, and the atmosphere was very beautiful and relaxing. My personal favourite was the fish cake sandwich (and the chocolate mousse!) The service and the staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure we were happy throughout, particularly our waiter, Novin. A wonderful experience - I would absolutely come again!

I've had plenty of excellent meals from cinnamon kitchen but sadly this one missed the mark. Went for the festive menu and while the starters were very good the duck main for me wasn't that nice and I simply didn't like desert. The restaurant itself isn't that well laid out. The air ventilation system is very strong and so spent most of lunch in a draft. Service was slow but that's not entirely their fault... they had to cover far too many tables. Oh and the napkins were dirty.

Nice food. I had a Sunday menu for 29£ I enjoyed the starter and Second plates. Didn’t like the first and desserts. Very long waiting between services. You have to ask to be served quickly if you don’t want to wait 30min between services.

Mediocrity at its best. We visited for my friends birthday and I felt it was pretty poor overall. The Bhel Papdi tasted stale and like it had been prepared well in advance. The parade tikka was nice but cold. The saddle of lamb portion was tiny and extremely over priced. It was also luke warm. The biryani was average. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was ok. I noted however on leaving that everyone else’s seemed to come with ice cream. Overall, the service was poor, the food was poor and overpriced and I will not be returning. There are much better options in London fir a decent Indian meal. The decor of the restaurant was nice. Service was inattentive and we had to flag someone down for almost every single thing.

Great service, we were hungry so glad the food came out very quick! Lamb was great in both the starters and mains and dessert was really good. Service was good and had a chat with the manager who was willing to spend time with us. Some items a bit over priced and portion sizes a bit small. Def worth a visit for a special occasion

  3. Dr Jesica Mac Leod ★★★☆☆

Overpriced for the small portions. My paneer with garlic naam was delicious, but the chicken was dry. The cocktails are really good and the desserts too, fast service but you can tell they are overwhelmed and overworked
