   We had Dev, Bhanu and Rohit providing excellent service this evening. The seating has been upgraded since my last visit, and we enjoyed our meal in booth area underneath skylights allowing a great view of our own TV. The atmosphere is giving cozy tasty sports bar. Food was superb including king prawn fried rice and hiryali chicken. I will return - the Crown is back with the Pepper.

   Yet in the front there is a vision to customer care, once we sat the staff came once to take the drink order and never seen again, indeed we had a new person joint later on. The food had to be ordered at the bar area, while the food was very nice and huge amount the taste was overly spicy. Even though I love spicy, it was just way too much. Also we asked if it could be changed to roti instead of naan, they still brought naan but hidden under the food.

   The Crown and Papers pub in Croydon is spot on. It has an amazing party vibe with a massive crowd, making it a great spot for groups. The drinks and food are reasonably priced, and the venue itself is spacious. Every corner has TVs showing live games, and the music adds to the lively atmosphere. Service is great and fast, efficient. The food is delicious, and I highly recommend trying the sexy chips they are superb, especially with a cold beer! Overall, a fantastic pub experience. Highly recommend!

Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they patiently explained everything we needed to know, making sure we felt comfortable with our choices. Whether it was dietary restrictions, customization requests, or even just curious inquiries about the dishes, they were attentive and accommodating every step of the way. What really stood out was their genuine enthusiasm for making our experience enjoyable. They checked on us regularly, ensuring our needs were met without being overbearing. The level of care and attentiveness we received was truly above and beyond. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to customer satisfaction, and it made our meal all the more enjoyable. If you're looking for a dining experience where you feel truly taken care of, I highly recommend visiting crown & pepper and asking for Rohit. Their exceptional service made our visit memorable, and we will definitely be coming back thanks to their outstanding hospitality.

   Really like this place and have just started going regularly. The 2 meals for £12.00 is really good value but the rest of the food is also reasonably priced and quite extensive. It is spacious and they will always find a table for you. It is very clean and the service is swift. There is a large function room at the back which is obviously available for private hire. Shows sports matches on large screens.

   Nice pub with loads of table to choose. Does show cricket match here. Very well managed table facility. Does have a back huge hall space for big group party. Rate wise - drinks and food are reasonable. Very close to public transport. Have some parking spaces outside but have to pay. Overall nice and will visit again!!

   Absolutely love coming to The Crown and Pepper, food is so cheap and cheery , especially when you get the 2 meals for £10. Staff are friendly and it’s been refurbished with a lovely Buddha bar and incredible bathrooms . Food has always been to a good standard, the portion sizes are great and service is so fast. I always order the Singapore noodles and salt and pepper tilapia , however the lamb curry and black bean crispy noodles are also delicious . Seen a few complaints about how the food is too spicy now… how about asking the chef for no chilli ? Perhaps that will solve that dilemma . Overall, thoroughly enjoy coming here , I’ve been over 10 times and will continue coming .
