Its really good i ordered Chicken chow mein and first bite was AMAZING everyone should try this no complaints and first came out hot!!!!
I've been ordering from Jade Garden for years and never had an issue, and the food is pretty good, but last night we ordered a curry dish, which should have come with rice or chips (see pic). When we got home the rice/chips were missing from the order. We rang up to ask and all they had to say was "you've got to ask for it", which wasn't explained at all on the menu. There was no attempt to get some sorted for us to collect, so we did without. Very disappointing as this wasn't made clear on the menu and left us short of part of our meal. I'd previously scored Jade Garden higher on Google but this has put us off ordering there again.
First time I use these guys. food was fresh and hot on delivery. Very tasty and I would use again.. not greasy like some of the other Chinese that I’ve used locally. EDIT: I recently used them again and when I bought the food home I had ordered three dishes and rice but found that there was barely any meat or vegetables in it, it was mainly sauce. I had ordered the specials. The curry dish literally had one prawn and three small pieces of chicken. There was no beef or duck. The other 2 dishes were no better. It was just mainly sauce. I called them straight away and complained but the lady that took the call just simply apologised but gave no resolution. I had paid nearly £25 and they could’ve suggested I take the dishes back or send a replacement with a delivery driver. I literally live around the corner. I had previously given five stars, but I am extremely disappointed with the way it was dealt with. I will not be using Jade Garden again due to the inconsistency with the food and how complaints are dealt with . It’s not often my partner and I order takeaway but we were so disappointed with the service and the food. If they are short on ingredients they should not be serving and taking customers money. Looking at previous reviews, it is very much hit and miss with this place. Takeaways are not cheap so anyone reading this review and previous ones, it’s up to you if you want to take your chances.
Ordered chicken Chow mein and salt and pepper chicken peices. Sloppy chow mein, and the chicken peices were like left over batter, there's more meat in chicken nuggets from the freezer, these were so bad and un eatable. If I was driving I would have taken it back 100%. It was that bad I have come online to give it a review, like a proper Karen.
We've had take away deliverys from Jade Garden Chester rd quite often. And i can say from ordering over the phone i found the young lady is very pleasant and polite & delivery guys are also polite. Our food order is Hot & delivered within the hour. I have no complaints with the food or delivery.
Friday night and waited 50 minutes already and still not got my food this was after phoning the order through before arriving 5/10mins after phoning this through first. No refund after asking and then hid in the back so I couldn’t ask for my money back ended up leaving what a disgrace.
Ordered a special fried rice no pork extra mushrooms & although I waited a little while for my order as soon as I opened the container it was well presented & was actually the best Chinese I've had post lockdown so freshly cooked & full of flavour with a bag of prawn crackers thrown in. Thoroughly enjoyed it
Ordered from here last night... the battered sweet chilli chicken was drier than the sahara desert and their shrimp fried rice was horrendous, it tasted odd and the rice was bland. I notified them and said i didn't want my money back and they offered to attempt to make the chicken again to which I accepted, only for it to arrive and be just as dry. Delivery driver was argumentative and wanted me to give him the chicken I had already threw in the bin, in exchange for the 2nd batch of chicken, even after i told him it was in the bin! I would stay away from here for your own health sake
