   We went to Sukho for dinner and had a really enjoyable evening. It’s a busy spot with a lively atmosphere — it can get quite loud, so I’d recommend booking ahead. We ordered a big spread to share: fishcakes, prawn toast, grilled chicken and prawn skewers, and duck spring rolls. The spring rolls and grilled meat were especially good, though the fishcakes you could probably skip. For mains we had prawn panang curry, green chicken curry, prawn pad thai, coconut sticky rice, and morning glory green beans. Everything was fresh and tasty — lovely food all round. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. It is a little pricier than other Thai places nearby, and while the food was good, I wouldn’t say the quality or experience fully justifies the higher cost.

   Today was my third time having lunch in this lovely Thai restaurant. I always go to have lunch with friends. We always greet by friendly staff and I love the Thai traditional interior of the restaurant. Each time of my visit I will try something different. This afternoon I ordered grilled prawns as starter and Fried egg noodles with soft cell crab tempura as main. The food was delicious and the garnish was great. The sauce for the prawns makes it look tempting and appetizing. The soft cell crab tempura was freshly cooked and tasted juicy. Definitely I will go again and have dinner there sometime.

   Went for lunch the second time today, also served by a friendly Thai waitress. The decor, the food and service reminded us of the great experience we’ve had from our many visits to Thailand. We did a la carte last week and tried the linch sets today. Great value for money. The dim sum (dumplings) appetisers were more Chinese but very delicious. The Tom Ka Gai coconut chicken soup was very authentic. So was the Pad Thai. Each set was just £15.90 plus VAT. We’ll try the fish and curry next time. It’s going to be our regular joint.

   Sukhothai was a delight from start to finish. The dumplings were silky and perfectly steamed, with a juicy, well‑seasoned filling that popped with fresh aromatics. The green Thai curry was the star—vibrant, creamy, and beautifully balanced between coconut richness, fresh basil, and a lively chili kick, with tender veg and protein cooked just right. Warm, attentive service and a relaxed, buzzy vibe made it an easy recommend. If you love bold, bright Thai flavors, don’t miss the dumplings and the green curry.

   It's a Thai jewel with lovely decor and ambience. Feels a bit crowded with closely parked tables. The food has a lot of flavour and taste. Portions are small. Spent £75 to keep the belly nurtured. The starter was bit dry and just warm, you would expect hot as the satay is grilled. The lemongrass tea is recommended. The sea bass was flavorful and drooling. Overall, for the price and portion it would deter me from visiting often, considering other options.
