Lovely place, last minute decision from us after a long day. Lovely candle lit dinner and amazing food! The young lady was very attentive and handled everything brilliantly so hats off to you. My only snag was I asked the younger guy for another drink and It never arrived so had to ask the lady for one instead but thatβs very minor. All in all I would recommend 10/10

I came with my friends for a New Yearβs Eve lunch. While the food was amazing, the customer service was disappointing. No one came to check on our table, and we waited more than 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared, followed by another 10 minutes before dessert was served. Although the floor staff were cleaning and resetting the tables around us, no one attended to our table, which made us feel ignored. When it was time to pay, there was also an issue with the bill. The young lady who took our order mixed it up, as we had ordered both a regular three-course meal and a festive course meal. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have experienced being ignored. Every time I dine here, the floor staff rarely check on our table. Aside from the service issues, the food was excellent.

We had to leaveβ¦unattended for more than 20 minutes after sitting. And regrettably, it was not because of the great number of people at the tables. We still wonder what were they waiting for to come to our table after I called their attention to serve us. If youβre reading this ands youβre still waiting, come by the Urbano 32; better ambience and quicker service.

Visited on a Bank Holiday Monday so I think they mightβve been understaffed and hence service was a bit slow. The Giardiniera pasta was worse than had before at another branch and pasta wasnβt cooked that great with a lot of it sticking together. Goats cheese pizza was nice though.

I visited at 10am on a Saturday morning. It was easy to get a table for breakfast. Outside there are a handful of tables, in the sun at that time of day. A lot more tables are inside, where the restaurant is quite large and spacious. Tables are laid out with corporate precision, everywhere is clean and tidy. The staff were very welcoming on my arrival, efficient at taking my order and bringing it to my table. I had a seat in the window, which afforded a great view of the hustle and bustle on the street outside; a nice place to relax and watch the world go by. I had an Americano and an almond croissant, from the pastry selection of the day. The croissant was served warm, which was a nice touch. I would definitely visit again.

From the onset, at was at the time, reasonably quiet, the welcome was well, not welcoming. We stood by the 'wait here' point for about 5 mins, then shuffled a bit further towards the bar, to still be ignored for another few mins, only to then be hollered across from a 'busy' barman pouring a single pint that " someone will be with you in a mo mate". Eventually, we were attended to and initially the young lady just pointed at any table, only to second guess and think it would be more pertinent to actually show us to the table... so next stage awaits... ..and wait, and wait some more.... About 10 more mins later, said lady from earlier apologised as it so busy (approximately 30 % full) and asked if we wanted to order a drink, again only to second guess in maybe we might want to order food too. Yet more waiting and finally the food turned up from what appeared to then be the shift-change (approx 4pm by the time this all happened). Now the food was ok, but not what I would say was amazing. I had the Penne Giardinia, which is apparently their signature dish. Fortunately I like garlic, but there was so much in it, it 'burned' more then the very small amount of any chilli that was present and presentation was sub-standard, with the 'sauce/courgette' combination slopped to one side of the dish. My better half had the Seafood Linguine, which was presented much better. The only poor bit about it, that was the Squid being very chewy to a rubber consistency. Drinks were ok and the Pitnot Blush was a rare "good one". We were finally offered dessert, but declined, as didn't want to suffer the long wait again and skipped the wait for the bill with the 'pay at the table' QR code service (fortunately). I know Carluccio's is slowly becoming a chain restaurant, in the North-West of England, but I think we will steer clear in future and support the more independent Italian restaurants, where we find you get better service for starters. (And mains etc, to excuse the pun).

Really delicious food and attentive staff with a good sense of humour. We had a business meeting there, the staff were very respectful of our space and didn't pressure us for time or the table back. Would recommend!

Good food but it took about 45 minutes to arrive even when it wasnβt busy at all. The waitress was in a world of her own. Terrible service.
