Good food, but don't be in a rush. Called after 45 mins of ordering, was told it'd be a further 45 mins. Sounded like they might have forgot to be honest.
The man at the counter had a very interesting aura and was not the friendliest of souls. But I suppose he is busy and stressed. The atmosphere was very interesting however and we did not wait long for our delicious food which we consumed down at the car park with a beautiful view and a beer from the co-op.
Ordered last night,not even a complicated order,told it would be an hour,{rang @ 7.20,} rang again @ 8.45 to be told it was just being cooked! 9.30 pm our food was delivered,burnt & full of grease{in the rice} & items missing! & A very different price from the one we was quoted!
September 2024: Nice Chinese takeaway with generous portion sizes. Food tastes fresh and vegetables always look fresh and inviting. Definitely worth phoning ahead to pre-order as waiting time can be long. Always seems to have customers coming and going so its a sign of a good, popular place! Staff friendly. Four seats inside shop to use when waiting. Cash only. Recommend collection as food can sometimes be cold by the time delivery arrives. Highly recommend the chicken chow mein. Previous review: Nice Chinese takeaway. Good tasting food and large selection. Food tasted 'clean' and wasn't greasy. Food also provided in good sturdy containers. Recommend to pick up; however, parking can be difficult outside the shop but nearby streets are available.
If I could give zero I would. Ordered and was told it would 40 mins, 90 mins later I called and they said they’re struggling due to snow but roads are clear and there hasn’t been any snow since yesterday. They clearly forgot the order and tried blaming weather from the day before which has now cleared. Shocking service from conmen. If you want a Chinese do not order from these as you won’t receive it
What more can you want from a Chinese take away.... Amazing staff helpful and clearly take pride in their job. Food is always lovely. Had several members of the family around and all are raving about price and quality. They always ask if we can order from Fat Panda.

First meal from Fat Panda yesterday. The food was amazing. In fact its the best we have had in the area. Arrived hot in good time. Thank you for having Thai Curries on your menu. Not many do Definitely our regular Chinese takeaway from now on. This place is hard to beat in both food and service
Fed up with having sub standard Chinese takeaway, I decided to give this establishment a go. Upon reading the reviews about here, I ordered, picked up and can confirm the food is absolutely gorgeous. Cash only though but there is a cash machine around the corner so eating from here in future will be a no brainer. Look forward to it and a definite 5 star.
