   Superb place. Delicious rustic Sicilian food in a warm friendly atmosphere. A really vibrant place that we will definitely come back too again and again. Incredibly reasonable prices and great service.

   A truly authentic and not-so-hidden Sicilian gem tucked away at the bottom of a block of flats in West London. The dishes are excellent, generously portioned and affordable which perfectly explains the constant queue outside.. The only downside is that service can be a bit chaotic with no clear order to how things are handled. Having said that some might argue it only adds to its charm and makes the experience feel even more authentically Sicilian.

   Panella London is a true community gem and a fantastic example of what a family-run restaurant can be. I was first introduced to Panella by a dear Italian foodie-friend, and it quickly became a favourite spot for lunch and special occasions — including a memorable birthday party where the space was beautifully set up just for us. The food here is Sicilian at its finest: vibrant, fresh, and full of authentic flavour. There’s always an impressive, daily-changing array of dishes, lovingly prepared by Giuseppe and Caterina Di Matteo, the passionate owners from Palermo. Their hospitality and generosity shine through — not only in the food but also in their deep commitment to the local community. A standout feature is the People’s Kitchen, held at Panella on the third Sunday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. This monthly event offers a free, delicious, and nutritionally balanced Sicilian meal to everyone in the North Kensington neighbourhood. It’s a wonderful chance to meet new friends, enjoy great food, and support neighbours in need. No bookings are needed — just drop by Panella at 15 Golborne Road, Trellick Tower. All are welcome. The People’s Kitchen is run in partnership with Goldfinger, the sustainable furniture business next door, and features food sourced from the Queen’s Park Farmers Market on a donation basis, helping to reduce food waste. Volunteers are always welcome to join the preparation from 3 pm, with dinner served from 6 pm onwards. Panella truly stepped up during lockdown, providing 10,000 meals to vulnerable residents, a shining example of how food can bring people together. You can support the People’s Kitchen by purchasing meal vouchers online: every £5 feeds a local resident a restaurant-quality meal, and £25 supports a family of five. Panella isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a beacon of neighbourhood spirit, hospitality, and generosity. Highly recommended — bravo to Giuseppe and Caterina and the wonderful, generous staff and supporters for everything they do!

   A big and busy Sicilian cafe. I ordered the swordfish pasta which was a little expensive at £14 but was a big portion. The aubergine was fantastic, but I wished the sauce was richer. It was busy at 1:30pm on a weekday so I waited on line for food for about 15/20 minutes. You order at the counter and then they call your name when food is ready. As well as savoury dishes there were 3 pastries and coffee.

   Owner Katerina is angel. Delicious siciliano dishes. Homely vibes. Basically genuine people serving genuine food. Parking lots available along not so busy road. I have no idea where the steady stream of customers come from ❤️❤️❤️❤️

   I discovered this place on a trip to London and it just filled my heart with so much joy. The food was so delicious that I would chew so slowly because I didn't want the flavours to end. And the lady there was so nice and welcoming. In my week there every time I went back it was like coming home to family.

   Delicious food. Good prices ! And the chef Chris is delightful. I highly recommend the plate of salad on the side. The Casarecce Norma is vegan if you ask for.it. He also made it spicy when I requested ! Lovely ambience and good vibes. You have to go!
