I enjoyed everything I got. Atmosphere was nice too as the music wasn’t too loud. It was not crowded on a Friday evening.

A tourist trap. They promote a set menu then when we sat at dinner at 7:15 they told us that the set menu ends at 7 pm. This information does not show anywhere!!! See attached photo. I think they decide on who they offer the set menu to or not, depending on nationality and social standard. Very disappointing experience. The food was mediocre. The staff is not hospitable their focus was trying to maximize how much we order. The restaurant was empty on a Saturday night! My above comments explain the reason why. We won’t go back ever again. A wasted a beautiful evening on this place. We ended up paying 76 per person just for a main dish each and one salad to share plus beverages. Totally not worth it.

Simply put: this was an amazing experience. I found Zaffarano simply by searching Google in an area where I was going to be after meeting with colleagues at a local pub. It turned out to be quite a wonderful find. Greeted warmly at the door and seated perfectly so a solo diner could watch the orchestra that is Zafarano on a Sunday evening. I was guided by my host to a Barolo from a winery I had never tried before - absolutely stunning. The timing of the entire meal was perfect as they understood my desire to have a relaxing and very slow dining experience. Every dish was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. This is now one of my favorite places to visit when searching for high-end Italian food.

It’s been almost 30 years since Zafferano opened, and I’d wanted to try this place for a long time. It was worth the wait! In an area not short of Italian restaurants, it’s easy to see why they have survived - the food is excellent (seriously one of the best aubergine parmigiana I’ve ever had, and the tiramisu was up there with the best of them too). It’s an elegant, but not stuffy, venue and the service is attentive and charming. A big plus is the outdoor space - which is covered and heated if need be - so perfect for when the sun’s out. Definitely recommended!

This Italian restaurant was recommended by the hotel’s concierge. The ingredients were fresh. Some dish was bland. But some dish was tasty. Linguine with Lobster here was really good and tasty.

A lovely long lunch catch-up with a friend and where better in town than Zafferano. The food and service are always impeccable although the bill tends to be on the higher side. The burrata, lobster linguine and tuna steak were fantastic. On a gorgeous day like today you have the option of dining outside to the front of the restaurant. Even though it is adjacent to the pavement it has been made to feel quite private. A big thanks to all the staff both front of house and behind the scenes.

As fabulous as ever! White truffle season they have a white truffle menu, juicy rib eye for two, big selection of fish, and extensive wine list which includes beautiful Sardinian wine. Delicious ice cream too. Friendly efficient service.
