   I recently visited this pasta restaurant and unfortunately left quite disappointed. I ordered the truffle pasta, expecting something rich, aromatic, and well-balanced. Instead, the dish felt confused from the start. I was served two different shapes of pasta, one resembling pipe rigate and the other closer to rigatoni, yet the waitress couldn’t tell me what they were supposed to be, which didn’t inspire confidence. The pasta itself was overcooked, losing the texture that makes a good pasta dish enjoyable. As for the truffle, it was practically nonexistent. Instead of the delicate truffle flavor I was hoping for, the dish was overwhelmingly dominated by mushrooms, making it feel more like a generic mushroom pasta than anything truffle-inspired. To make matters worse, the food was served in paper takeaway boxes with wooden cutlery, even though I was dining in. This not only diminished the dining experience but also made the meal feel rushed and less enjoyable. Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations set by the menu description or the price. With clearer communication, proper cooking, real truffle presence, and proper dine-in serving ware, the dish could have been much better. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback into account, because the concept has potential but the execution fell short.

   A little bit underwhelming unfortunately. The taste was fine, average I would say, but the portions were quite small especially the ravioli! My friend didn’t feel full at all after his meal. The Nutella Gnocchi were a nice surprise even tho the portion again was quite small. The restaurant was very warm and there was quite some noise in the background, so you had to speak pretty loudly to understand each other. I think for a quick lunch this is fine but for a dinner I would go elsewhere.

   A pleasant place overall. I only took food to go during lunch breaks, but I tried it several times. I wouldn’t sit inside at lunchtime. The layout isn’t very comfortable, since the line runs right between the tables, which must be awkward for people sitting there. The system with two separate queues - for business lunches and for pasta - also felt confusing, as everything mixed together and became inconvenient. As for the food, I liked it. The business lunch was tasty, simple, and filling - no frills, but good value. I had pasta before as well, and while it was fine, the lunch menu was definitely the better choice.

   Not good experience unfortunately! Came here for dinner on a Thursday evening. We ordered two starters: bruschetta with Nduja and burrata (good) and arrosticini (very dry and overpriced). As main we took zucchini and gamberi pasta + arrabbiata bucatini. Although picture looks good, again here pasta was without flavour and borderline uncooked (I would not define that pasta “al dente”). Service was average, cook had to ring bell with our food 4 times before it being picked up. Bill was ok for city prices, but food quality not there…

   Enjoyed the pasta, but the wine by the glass (Montepulcano) was absolutely awful, while it should not have been so bad according to Vivino - probably they store it wrongly while uncorked. I've ordered espresso and tiramisu, and the cake was forgotten, but at all least not charged.

   Have been to Scarpetta a number of times and it does not disappoint. Seating is limited so would recommend booking. Tried a new starter for a change (mussels) which were nice but a little dry. I had the prawn pasta for main which I cant fault- tasted very fresh and was a good sized portion. I will definitely be returning

   I got the lunch tray with my colleague and the box looks small but its actually very filling. For 9.95 you get grains, topped with protein (grilled chicken or vegetarian option) and two sides. I got sweet potato and roasted aubergine. They change everyday. A healthy, nutrition packed lunch!

   The best fast place to go for a quick bites for lunch. They have limited menu but with variety of choices to choose from. The taste was excellent and you can choose either a single item from the menu or opt for the popular lunch box.
