I noticed Gloria while driving past in a taxi and thought it worth checking out. Very pleased I did: great atmosphere inside and an excellent, authentic Italian menu. Two of us shared the Branzino carpaccio and Fennel, mozzarella and orange insalatina to start with, followed by the Girella bolognese and Ossobuco and polenta for a main course. We finished this off with their Tiramisù. All were absolutely delicious! Service was great, and they kindly recognised my partner's birthday with a card and limoncello; thank you Gloria! Thoroughly recommend a visit, especially if you like Italian food and wine (a great wine list too, by the way).

I could give 10 stars if i could! I don't know where to start. The restaurant is beautiful. From the tables to the plates and the small details that can't make you stop looking around, with the soft music at the background that gives that italian atmosphere. It's like being transported in a different era and country. The food is to die for. We had the lunch set menu + desserts. Every single dish was an explosion of flavours. I could tell the ingredients were fresh. I've never found a restaurant that does the tiramisù as good as mine. I've recommended it to every soul I know and I will definitely go back to taste other dishes from the menu... next time I'll make sure to book the table, because we were lucky to find 1 available. The staff is very nice. Our waiter was so lovely, checking on us but always very discreet

Had the BEST time at the World Pasta Day dinner at Gloria! The whole night felt like a little Roman getaway — the chefs flew in from Rome and you could taste the love in every course. The Fettuccine Alfredo was unreal… silky, rich, and literally mixed tableside right in front of us. The Supplì was gooey perfection and the Vitello Saltimbocca was so tender. And don’t get me started on the tiramisù — chef’s kiss. Honestly such a fun night, good vibes, great food — 10/10 would go again!

Visited Gloria in Shoreditch for World Pasta Day and it was absolutely fantastic! The truffle fettuccine was rich, creamy and full of flavour and definitely the highlight of the night. The parmigiana was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The starters were lovely, and the cocktails were top-notch too. The staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Such a great vibe overall and I can’t wait to come back!

Very charming Italian restaurant, the atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. As a truffle head I had to go for the truffle pizza and pasta which were both very good. The truffle pasta was rich and flavorful, and the pizza was also top-notch, with a crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Make sure you have room for dessert, some may say it's too sweet but if you have a big sweet tooth like me you will love their lemon meringue pie. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine.

Service is excellent and the atmosphere is great too. The food is good especially for the pasta, but the pizza is a bit under average. The pizza is not chewy and too wet. The cocktail is nice with a funny cup. Suggested to take other orders then everything would be fine.

This one has been on my list for a long time! I went here for lunch and the decor was very chic, the vibe was good too. The waiter was tentative and the food arrived quickly. The pasta was delicious! Now you must be thinking why 4 stars and not 5? Every little space has been used in this building and the tables are very close together, too close. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars!

Great restaurant and lovely staff. The food is absolutely great and the venue is incredibly cured filled with plants and small details all over the places. Reservations are absolutely necessary so be prepared to book at least a couple of weeks in advance. The menu is strictly Italian with an absolute high quality. There are no many vegan options unfortunately since most of the dishes are loaded with cheese. Because of that I wouldn’t recommend Gloria if you are vegan but definitely plenty of options for vegetarians tho.

Unfortunately my friend's cocktail arrived with a lipstick stain on the glass but upon pointing this out, the staff immediately replaced the drink. The main course was also incorrect for my friend, it wasn't her day. She ordered the truffle pasta but was given carbonara. The staff realized their mistake and sent for a speedy order of the truffle pasta. Despite the mistakes, we did enjoy our food and drinks. In the end, a discount was applied to our bill without us requesting one, which was fair. I would still recommend this restaurant for its location and decor. The food was really great for me but only mediocre for my friend. Perhaps better luck next time. This restaurant is really popular so I recommend reserving a table to avoid disappointment.
