I had dinner there recently, and it was well worth it. The welcome was warm and genuine, the kind that makes you feel the place takes hospitality seriously. The industrial-style décor works nicely, metal, wood, soft lighting, nothing forced, just a cool, coherent atmosphere. I started with the sea bass crudo, which was excellent: fresh, clean flavours and spot-on seasoning. Then came the pasta with fennel sausage ragù, simply outstanding. Perfectly al dente, rich, honest flavours, the kind of dish that doesn’t need any tricks to shine. And their orange wine was a real highlight: aromatic, lively, with just the right tension. All in all, a thoroughly satisfying dinner. I’m glad I tried this place.

It’s a really nice wine bar and restaurant, with a very cosy atmosphere. The pizzas were quite good for value and it’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy good food. As a French person, I found the wine good, though the lower-priced options on the menu were quite expensive for what they were and not necessarily the best, but of course, that probably doesn’t reflect the whole wine list. I’ve only been there once, but it’s definitely a great spot to enjoy a warm, welcoming ambiance and a tasty meal.

They are amazing! We went there with a toddler, so it was a bit challenging but the waiter and the servers helped us a lot, in managing the table and making our toddler entertained. They were so helpful, kind and polite. We, my friend and her baby had fun a lot although he made a bit of a mess around. The food was amazing, we ordered beetroot salad, pizza, red wine and tiramisu. It was so delicious! Especially we lived tiramisu because it tasted closer to the original recipe with almond liqueur. We sat outside, the weather was amazing and everything was perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone!

New Yorker/New Jerseyan here- this place. is. it. The mafalde is absolutely delectable. It is the simplest meal made up of a handful of ingredients but oh my— the freshness?? unreal. The margherita pizza STUNNED with a classic cheesy, greasy (in a good way) finish, you really can’t ask for more. Even the vegan pizza was delicious, and a quick ricotta sub (i took olives off my half) made it the perfect meal. Excellent vibes, both indoor & outdoor, & excellent food. Cannot recommend it more! Will be back xx

Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to eat out in Europe. The interior was really cozy and welcoming. The FOOD was ridiculously delicious. 100% recommend the lamb and pig head. Staff are just delightful. You can even speak to the chefs while they prepare your food right in front of you! A must do if you come past Hackney.

Me and my girl went for a dinner last night, one of the best date night ever, we had a chefs table right next to the kitchen, personally the chef(Richard) served us, he explained the whole menu and the food, I never had a such a experience like this before it was so cool. Thank you chef Richard for making our date special.. 10/10 worth every penny..

Lovely atmosphere in Lardo. Staff are friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The food is quite good and I would recommend trying it for sure. I found the dishes to be overly rich however and quite salty. The focaccia and olives are delicious as a starter or even just those items with drinks would be lovely. Thanks for a nice time boys.

I was a little apprehensive about the spaghetti special since it’s vegetarian yet £16 but let me tell you… it might be the best vegetarian pasta I’ve had in my life! So many layers of flavors; there’s certainly depth to it. The pizza was okay and interesting! I’ve never seen any restaurant serve green onions on a pizza.

Cool place with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The pizza was really good as well as the starters. The pizza and the cauliflower puree were my favourite. Sadly, the risotto wasn’t good at all, we couldn’t finish the plate which rarely happens - it tasted like mushroom soup powder. Would definitely recommend the owners to rethink the meal. Other than that it’s a nice place after all.
