    We ordered three different pasta dishes and every single one was outstanding. Truly hard to pick a favourite. I’d highly recommend ordering a fresh salad in between as a palate resetter - it made the experience even better. The white truffle pasta was wild in the best possible way, and the ricotta was unbelievably fresh and beautifully done. Excellent wine list with great choices to match the food. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout. A fantastic dining experience all around - will definitely be back! Oh and nduja mussels - omg.

    I really enjoyed my visit to Manteca in Shoreditch. The food was fantastic — the duck was a standout and the sea bass ceviche was beautifully fresh and well-balanced. The wine selection was also very good, with plenty of great options to choose from. Overall, a great dining experience with excellent flavours and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going again.

    One of the best restaurants in London! The food, the staff – the whole experience – was incredible. We had the focaccia, the house-made ricotta, beef battuta, the ziti and the farfalle pasta. We finished the night with a delicious dessert whose name I sadly can’t remember. But honestly, everything was AMAZING. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

    First time to the restaurant, has been on the list for a couple of years. Ambience was great- I like the way the tables are positioned to enable a more personalised feel to the experience and the staff were very welcoming on entry. Menu was fantastic- was particularly excited to try the mussels and the pasta. Pasta was delicious with the Ragu and the mussels had a nduja kick to the cream sauce but were superb. Didn't take a picture but the Kombucha cocktail was so fresh, would recommend! I think the waiting staff once we needed some additional assistance with dessert forgot to get my gf a glass of wine and left us waiting for a while but other than that - a great experience and would visit again.

    Exceptional Pasta Experience at Manteca! My first visit to Manteca was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant itself is super cool and chic, with dark-toned lighting and minimalist design creating a great atmosphere. The customer service was superb—interactive, informative, and genuinely attentive. Our server, Jack, was amazing; he ensured we were always looked after and really enhanced our meal. We ordered a few things to share: the focaccia, ricotta and chili dip, crab pasta, beef ragu, kale pasta, peach sorbet, and beef fat fudge. The pasta is incredibly fresh, and the sauces were wonderfully rich yet light, not heavy at all! I'd recommend sharing 3-4 pasta dishes as the portions aren't huge, which is perfect for trying more of the menu. Despite the restaurant being very busy, there wasn't much of a wait for the food. A special shoutout to the peach sorbet—it literally tasted like a burst of fresh peach! You can tell they prioritize high-quality ingredients and fresh produce across the board. For all this food, the bill came to just £80 (no alcohol), which is great value for money. Overall: 8.5/10. It was a truly excellent experience and definitely a step above most other popular pasta spots. Highly recommend!

    Can’t be missed Italian restaurant in London. Serve unpretentious Italian food, unusual taste yet delicious! Good service , staff are friendly. Sharing concept so portion relatively smaller, can try more variety. Booking in advance a must as they usually packed. Suggest start earlier as some popular dishes sold out quickly. Their menu changes depends on available fresh ingredients - like opening blind box every time…worth to go once a while. Definitely will come back again !

    Everything is incredible here! The pasta is especially outstanding: flavourful, the perfect texture, and super interesting ingredients. They make even the cabbage crazy tasty. The staff is super friendly and joyful, genuinely happy to share their restaurant with you. Sit at the kitchen counter and order as much as you can!

    My only criticism of this place is that portions are “too small”, because everything is just too delicious. Our table of 4 was practically fighting over who gets the last piece. Everything we had on the menu was fabulous. One of the rare times when you taste a dish that actually makes you go WOW!! Service is also super accommodating, the waiters/waitresses really know their menu and gave great recommendations. Can’t wait to come back to try everything else on their menu.

    Incredible! Fantastic service. Love the focaccia (we ordered it along with the house made ricotta, which surprised us because it was not very salty). Also the kale rigatoni - the rigatoni pasta had the perfect texture and the sauce was bright and light. And can't forget the brown crab pasta, which was sparkling with black pepper! Washed everything down with a fizzy house lemonade.

    Excellent dinner and service! Pastas are the stars of the show and great for sharing. Special mention to the duck parpadelle and kale & chili pasta. All the desserts were delicious, especially the almond cake! I'll come back when the menu changes.
