Really nice place. Good service and good sausages. The staff were very friendly. Expensive, but worth it

We have been coming here on and off over the last 10years. Today was one of those days, we noticed a little change on entering, we sat up stairs & the heart has been ripped out of the place. Service was slow , but girls doing best. Shame, it was such a unique place ..., now trying to be a regular coffee shop, if its not broke, dont fix it. Husband is gutted!

Interesting food serving, delicious food, especially enjoyed apple strudel. Coffee is not too good, but still going to give 5 stars. On busy street it is really nicely located in a quiet corner.

Always stop here on our trips to bakewell.. the food is full of flavour and its very authentic.. a great selection of teas and artisan coffee. I always treat myself to a specialist coffee when here Thanks for great food every time and not changing!

Good atmosphere. The food is authentic. So props to them. The mustard they give you is amazing! And nice service. To order you have to ring a cow bell. Which adds to the atmosphere. Just overall a nice slice of Alps.

We first went here a few years ago when visiting Bakewell and super enjoyed it, however, this year, at £15.90 for a couple of sausages and nowt else i.e. no sides at all, it’s way too much. A bog standard Frankfurter was £9 and came in a standard sausage bun. No sides. We got three sausages and a couple of normal drinks and it came to £33. I could have had a bigger lunch with an alcoholic drink for that. Won’t be going again. I appreciate they import from Austria, but still, they need to give sides with meals for the price to make it a better deal. We were still hungry afterwards. Plus point was the staff were super nice.

Great food, perfect German/Austrian sausages, friendly staff and tasty coffee.

Great for an authentic alpine mountain meal. We go frequently to buy Austrian and German food such as knorr soups, breadcrumbs and, of course, sausage. Coffee is great too and the staff are very friendly.
