   Not a good choice of drinks for my husband as he likes the darker ales, service wasn't very good it was busy but it seemed like they just served who was in front of them regardless of how long anyone else had been at the bar, I worked behind the bar for years and I know you should be checking around when you're serving to see who is next.

   This pub is not part of your normally brewery chain. It's back to the old days were a couple run the bar with their lovely team. The pub is clean and warm and appears to have been recently modernised. It has a homely feel, friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a wide variety of gins and tonics which we enjoyed trying.
