   A great, warm, and friendly pub with large indoor and outdoor areas and a big car park. All the staff greet you with a smile and are happy to chat, and even the locals make you feel welcome. The food is good and reasonably priced. They hold lots of different events and acts, and it’s always a great day or night out. I’ve had a few parties here and have never been disappointed. The landlord and lady are lovely, helpful, and always go above and beyond to meet your needs, whether it’s food, a dressing room, or anything else. It’s just a great pub. Dogs are allowed too — what more can I say? Give it a try!

   We attend all the parties here Halloween, bonfire night, Xmas. The best event is breakfast with Santa they always put on a great event for the kids. So many christmas crafts and the build a bear this year was so cute you could not help but go awwwwww. Bacon and sausage butties and ups of tea and coffee were on offer for attending parents. The pub has also Very reasonable prices and great family atmosphere. Amended. 15.12.25. Just back from the best fire works display I have seen for many years... it was worthy of a London new years display. Absolutely brilliant night.

   A good large traditional pub with a decent pool table and a projector for sports events with a lot of space. Prices are good and the parking is decent. Usually fairly busy but was quiet on the last visit. Only recommendation... turn the heating off! Its summer.
