   Just left the Tandle Hill Tavern party of 10 booked, Tapas were delicious and portion sizes are very generous. Fantastic service from organising the booking to being served really couldn't ask for more. All the party full up and happy the ambience was cosy and friendly will def be back, when I've lost the stone I just gained. Thank you so much.

   We had a lovely time at the cheese and wine night and couldn't recommend it enough! there was a wide range of cheeses and generous portions. My husband couldn't resist buying one of the homemade pies to take away with us! what a place! Great beer, tasty homemade food, and with the quirks of a traditional pub with friendly locals to share a tale or two.

   Went for Tapas night, food was great, all the team are really friendly. Nice open fire, lovely friendly atmosphere. Great pub. Prawns and Croquettes were really stand out dishes. The menu changes so you have to be quick to catch each menu set.

   THIS is the pub to go to if ever you have the chance. And if you've been before, but not since late 2023 - ga again. New, young owners have revitalised the Tavern whilst keeping all the old, well lived traditional features. The food is fantastic, dogs are very welcome. There is even home-made doggy ice-cream, dog snacks and hand-made dog leads for sale. There's a small tuck shop and board games for kids. Lovely walks all around. WINNER OF PUB OF THE YEAR 2025.

   Hard to get a good photo of how amazing the Father's Day afternoon tea platter was as it was a bit dark was but it was by far the best afternoon tea I've ever had - anywhere. Everything on the platter was home made from the fantastic scotch egg to the chocolate and stout cake which was actually unbelievably good. I can't recommend this pub enough not only is it so cute and a proper traditional English pub with lovely staff but the food is just amazing. Behind the bar they also have a well stocked tuck shop, pies / pastries and local farm eggs for sale. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.

   Traditional pub, lovely fresh pint. Friendly landlord and patrons. Sat outside, limited seating. No children allowed. Cash only too.

   Very welcoming pub with a nice cosy atmosphere. Sitting near the real fire I felt like I was in someone`s front room. My pint of Seasonal ale was very nice also.
