Great local drinkers pub with ales, lagers, ciders, wines and spirits. A couple of solid fuel stoves and mix of stools, seats, sofas seating provide a comfortable environment across several rooms. Juke box music and TV for football matches give good atmosphere to go with it. Note: NO food served !! (in spite of Google Maps thinking)

Lovely pub. Just recently moved into the area and nice to see a place with real ales busy and doing well.

Brilliant little drinking pub with a minimal modern/industrial but cosy interior and warm stoves. Had the ale on special - £2.20 a pint!?! Can’t beat that! Only hiccup was we then realised we hadn’t any cash on us and it’s a £10 minimum on card, so a swift jog up to the nearest cash machine required… (Can understand card fees are bad on small amounts, but how about switching it to “50p surcharge on card payments under £10” instead? Most people would understand and just pay it to avoid the hassle and it’d be a bit more welcoming than pointing to a sign. Just a suggestion!)

Fantastic local pub, with five well kept cask ales, a couple of traditional ciders, continental lagers, and a well stocked top shelf. Recently renovated, two log burners pumping out the heat, and a friendly reception. Sky sports showing on multiple screens throughout. £10 minimum on card.

Not sure about the drink of the week lol (see photo) but we spent a good deal of time here on our last ale trail stop. Very friendly staff and locals which made this a great experience. Recommend a pint of stormy!

With so many pubs going under, a very refreshing change to see a pub modernised & given a fantastic makeover, add to that an amazing cask & keg beer choice, as well as a well stocked bar ( A great offer when we visited at lunchtime was a £2.00 a pint cask beer) Great friendly staff ( avoided the photo) Well worth finding & give them some custom!
