Went in on the strength of my friend's recommendation about the Guinness. It was absolutely perfect - properly kept and properly poured. The landlady was friendly and welcoming. We'll be back when we are next up in Marple.
Very attractive pub both outside and inside. Lovely wood panelling and interesting decorations. Dating back to the early 1800's named in recognition of the local workers who produced the raw material for Stockports hat making industry. A bar area and three separate comfortable rooms and an outside beer garden. Excellent Robbies cask ales. A lovely friendly pub.
Lovely panelled local with lots of rooms. Robinson's beer kept so well. Very friendly and helpful service. Just missing Dizzy Blonde on the pumps.
Flic says it is a rare pub that my missus remembers visiting better than me. A back street Robinson's pub a short walk from the busy centre of Marple with an impressive floral display outside; gives it a country pub vibe. Three interior rooms and a small side beer garden. Flic told me to have another pint of Robinson's AMO 4.4% Pale Ale. Very friendly and comfortable pub.

Warm friendly welcome. Decent selection of ales, cider and spirits to choose from. Petite beer garden but perfectly pleasant to sit in. Toilets are small but very clean and with good facilities. Will definitely be back ☺️
