    When out with work clients and suppliers, everyone always asks to go for the best Guinness in the city centre - so I bring them here. Land lady Kay knows what she is doing with her beer, and has some great stories. Her staff are well trained, friendly and polite - they remember people’s names. Cannot speak highly enough of the place to be honest. Sport is always on, decent music, menu is limited but the pies and snacks are quality. The atmosphere has been lifted further with the recent addition of a top class pool table, which prompted this review.

    Fun, traditional pub. For a small space there is plenty of seating around small tables using a combination of stools and chairs. Looking up there are some interesting exposed beams decorated with various paraphernalia. Simple selection of very well kept beers. Footie on the telly. Pies on the menu. What's not to like!

    Possibly the warmest welcome I've ever received walking into a pub in Manchester. I only stopped in for a quick one for before a gig and I'm so glad I did. The gaff is cute and cosy and I cannot get over how friendly and accommodating the lady behind the bar was. Its deffo worth swinging in
