I recently visited the Hobbs store in York, and I was so impressed by the exceptional service I received from Liz. She truly went above and beyond to help me find the perfect jacket.
Bad service , staff unhelpful . Tried to return an item bought only the day before but wasn’t allowed as I’d cut off the label by mistake . They insinuated that I cd have worn it which I clearly hadn’t . Had receipt and the label which they could have easily pinned back on . Not an issue at other stores. Will complain to Head Office and never shop there again
Shiona at the York branch was super helpful today. I was choosing a mother of the bride outfit and she found me the perfect set of clothes and accessories. I had given her quite a tight brief colour wise and she came up with some wonderful suggestions. Many many thanks
Visited the York store on 7th Feb as I had seen a dress online that I thought would be ideal for a wedding in June. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Shiona was great and the other staff were amazing bringing me bags, shoes, hat, jacket to try on with the dress. I ended up with a full outfit which I am extremely happy with. Thank you

My Mum and I booked an appointment at Hobbs York a couple of weeks ago, so that we could view some certain dresses for Mother of the Bride. We were warmly met by Sam who had everything in place for our arrival. The service Sam provided was outstanding! She gave honest, valuable feedback which made my Mum feel so relaxed and comfortable. We had Sam’s full attention for 2 hours, which demonstrates how patient and invested in us she was. We would throughly recommend a pre-booked appointment at Hobbs York for a special occasion dress! Fantastic selection of dresses! Bought a dress for my son’s wedding and couldn’t find a jacket to match. Shiona managed to find one in another store and had it sent out to my home address as we don’t live locally. Really excellent service.

Superb service from the very friendly sales staff. Helped with finding sizes, opinions and taking items to the fitting room. The whole experience made us feel welcome and able to browse and choose with ease. A great choice of the Hobbs range in store which is very spacious. Anice comfy sofa for me to sit and relax whilst my wife tried on her choices. At the till the purchase was folded neatly and wrapped in tissue paper to keep it tidy and bagged gently even though it was a sale purchase. An engaging chat at the till made it a great bit of shopping. Well done.
