   I have to say this is the worst food I have EVER tasted!! Frozen chips! The meal was absolutely tasteless!! The Salt and pepper spare ribs were full of fat and very greasy!! I would advise people to avoid this Chinese takeaway!! Ours went in the bin!!!

   Without a shadow of a doubt, the food I have just been served by this place, is the worst I have ever come across. It was that bad, I’m considering calling the Police. Salt and pepper spare ribs: maybe, 6 grams of meat off the entire portion. Beef, green pepper with black bean sauce: the ‘beef’ looked and tasted like kebab meat. The ‘sauce’ had a grey tinge to it and tasted of……well, nothing actually. The rice I ordered looked like it had been scraped up off the floor and the chips were…wait for it…..frozen chips. After just a mouthful, it ALL went in the bin. If you work hard for your money, don’t waste it here.

   Really nice lady that delivers. It’s good value, particularly for the chow mein and fried rice dishes, which come in big round containers. If you ask for it spicy they add proper chopped fresh chillies. Overall, they seem like good people making an effort, with generous portions.

   Worst take out I’ve had . Ribs smelt of death and the beef tomato was terrible. Was hopeful for my once a month Chinese!!! But certainly disappointed us.

   I wasn’t going to write a review about my experience here but after a phone call from an unknown number at 7:30pm from the owner 06/07/2020 (I called their landline and he answered admitting it was him) I would advise everyone to stay clear of this chippy!! I ordered a takeaway 03/07/2020 of crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chicken, crispy duck and some sides only to be served what could be described as slop! The salt and pepper chicken was like jerky! You couldn’t bite through it at all the crispy chilli beef was mush not soft but gooey! We didn’t even open the rest we paid £40 in total and received a full refund. What has really annoyed me is that I ordered in the past and the owner obviously annoyed that I have returned my meal has gone through old receipts to find my phone number and call me!! Acropolis is only down the road guys, or even the cherry garden!? I’m sorry mrs cheung you’re a lovely lady but your partner shouldn’t have called me while I was putting my baby to bed! I will post this everywhere now and as it’s factual no review site will remove it. Disgrace to call me at 7:30!! This isn’t the last you will hear from me.

   It's safe to say I've never been so disappointed in a Chinese takeaway until now. Me and others bought several different plates and the food was consistently poor; the only good food were the prawn crackers. To add insult to injury, the wait for the food was meant to be 40 minutes but ended up being an hour and a half. I wouldn't want anyone to have the same miserable experience as we have.
