Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.

The food is 2.5/3 I’m afraid. The venue and service are 5 plus, and the view - especially with the sun setting is stunning! It’s a lovely and classy place to go, it was actually a friend’s bday. So we ordered our food, it ranged from ok to not that great. Such a letdown. The calamari, nachos and guacamole were good as starters/bites to share. But after that.. There was too much sauce in the chicken enchiladas dish… you can see it was drowning in it and the balance is out. The chicken fajita bowl was nice enough and same with the taqueria chicken mixiote. And the bday girl in question enjoyed her portobello mushroom “Rocks” dish. Unfortunately, I asked for medium for my Carne “Rocks” dish and since it came out on a sizzling hot platter, it arrived well done. I did complain and the manager was very polite and friendly about it and offered good recompense. The little bowl with a tiny amount of rice, peppers and beans is far too miserly for the cost of the dish. Hopefully, they will improve the food, as it’s a shame the food doesn’t match up to the surroundings. It was an experience and that’s part of the allure I would imagine.

Beautiful Views, Fresh Food, and a Relaxing Atmosphere We visited for breakfast around 10:15 a.m., primarily booking for the stunning views—and they did not disappoint! The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet when we arrived, making it the perfect spot to relax. The food was incredibly fresh and filling. We enjoyed fresh orange juice, warm pastries, a delicious salmon bagel, waffles, and an avocado and egg dish. Everything tasted fantastic. The restaurant started to get busy as we were leaving around 11:30 a.m., but it never felt overly crowded. The prices were also very reasonable for the quality of the food and the incredible views you get. Highly recommend for a lovely breakfast experience!

Went on the weekend for a birthday and I have to be honest, this was my 2nd time I've been. The 1st time I had such amazing food that I wanted to treat my brother for his birthday so took him there. Food was not great. The menu seems to have changed drastically since I went there last and the vegetarian/vegan options are all the same vegetables (cauliflower). We literally ordered everything off the menu that was available but when it came it all tasted the exact same. We weren't impressed with the food but having said that once I had mentioned this to the managers they were very apologetic and offered to re-cook the food but we kindly refused. We also cancelled the rest of our order as we had lost our appetite. They kindly comped the whole bill as they were really sorry we hadn't enjoyed the meal and were so kind by doing this. Although I've rated the food as a 3 star I'd give 10 stars just for the service. The venue is beautiful, amazing views and drinks are great. I'd definitely recommend and go back again on the basis that I'd like to think they will take on board my feedback and make some changes.

I didn’t catch the name of the server for our table but he was lovely, helpful and just a great guy. My experience was lovely from the moment I walked in and was greeted by the host, told him my friend was going to be late and he offered me a seat at the bar to wait, bar staff were lovely and attentive. The host then came back and offered me my table as it was the last window seat and he didn’t want me to miss out. All staff were amazing and helpful. The atmosphere was great and the food was brilliant. The views were of course a major plus! I could go on and on! Will deffo be back and be recommending this place to everyone!

As much as we enjoyed our experience at Madera, we could only give it a 4*. The food and drinks were really good, but I think you’re paying more for the incredible views than the food. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the food was really good, but it didn’t meet value for money. For the price we paid, we were expecting to be blown away by the food and slightly bigger portions, but it failed to meet our expectations. Like all the reviews you’ll find on here, make sure to get a table next to the window as it adds to the experience. The views are really amazing. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The whole entire vibe is amazing. They could turn the music down a bit as you do struggle to hear each others conversation. This comment makes me sound old but it was a bit difficult at times to hear. However the DJ was really good and created good vibes. Is this a place I’d be coming back in a hurry, sadly not. It is great Mexican but it didn’t meet the high standards we were expecting.

Very cool atmosphere, nice vibe and great views. We were lucky to have nice weather and managed to watch the sunset. I would recommend getting a table by the window if available. I'm giving it 3 out of 5 because it is very very overpriced for what it is (in terms of quality and quantity). The food was average, not bad but also not amazing. I've definitely had better Mexican food for much better value. If you go, think of it that you're paying for the atmosphere and the view and not for the food, otherwise you'll be disappointed. Again, just want to clarify that the food was actually okay and some of it tasty, but just not worth its price. For example, this tiny bowl of Guacamole was £9!!!! We also ordered their signature dish "ROCKS", but that was a bit disappointing. For me, it lacked flavours and was quite bland. On the other hand, the chef’s enchiladas were delicious and I'd definitely order again.

We went to Madera for lunch with friends. We were all vegan/vegetarian and they seem to have a good range of food, however they did get some of the orders incorrect but the general manager there was absolutely amazing and went out of his way to rectify the situation and was very courteous. The food was delicious i would definitely recommend going again!!
