“Such a lovely place! I went in my bike and sat outside in the sunshine. The owner came outside and took my order the second I arrived and it was served up in no time! Absolutely delicious and for under a tenner! Highly recommend!”

“Very basic but priced accordingly sandwiches. Lovely little cafe environment with coffee, milkshakes, smoothies, and more. Good WiFi. But the standout was the service! Everyone was on point and super hospitible. I'll be back, prob every other day since I'm too lazy to make my own sandwiches.”

“A chefs perspective of ottos it could not get more French when you walk in your transported to France. The owner is a French as they come! I thought the goats cheese soufflé was one of the best starters I’ve ever had. The scallops were also as good as it gets. The service on the starters wasn’t the best they got our starters mixed up the front of house manager took our order so that was his bad the younger waiter had to take the embarrassment for it!. I did find the front of house manager abir all the place pacing up and down the restaurant looking quite bored at times but he is good with customer with his old school approach and jokes and he’s certainly knows what he’s doing. It was quiet that night so maybe that was the mistake and the pacing up and down. As for the rack of lamb the theatre was great but the lamb was as good as roar in my opinio. I forgot how rare the French cook meat. That ruined it for me and in my opinion English peolple think that is to under cooked the worst part was the fat had not been rendered down and was very raw and tough also the whole lamb was under seasoned and it needed some sort of peas maybe as a purea?! It ruined rhe meal for me I said to my sister I’ve only cooked a rack of lamb a few times so these guys should get it bang on cooking it most nights but they messed it up big time! They should ask how you want it cooked because once it’s been carved that’s it you will have to flash it in a pan which will ruin it to cook it more! execute the cooking right b4 you bring the theatre out I would say I have never had pomme soufflés b4 I wanted to get them to see what the hype is about they were exactly how they should be looks wise a work of art crafted by a mater of his trade! They are extremely hard to make so hats of ro the chef who did them for me sadly as I expected rhe flavour was not great just like a crisp with no seasoning the salt had not even stuck to them again all about the theatre but lacking in seasoning. They would be better served with some sort of Hollandaise or aioli not the jus. The Apple tart was to die for and the chocolate pot and the after dinner truffles were not very impressive . It’s a great restaurant I would not return I would say it’s the sort of place most people would only go once I would not say it’s worth the price tag for normal people anyway. I know my food and how hospitality runs so I like to leave an honest chefs review of restaurants. I would like to say the younger guys in the team were very professional and knew what they were doing shame they have to make up mistakes of others but it was an experience I wanted to show my sister a higher class of food and service and it did deliver just a shame rhe lamb was not right. Whej it came to the bill I was not willing to pay the 12.5% tip I wanted to tip what I thought it was worth they wanted £30 service charge well I put 10£ for it and of course like all fancy places and most places in general in london they make you feel bad for it and it can create a scene my £10 was a fair tip they shpuid of been happy with considering the service they had given me and tbh this bugs me about these places I’m not from the 1% my bill is already very expensive why embarrass me in front of other guests and my sister not all guests have endless amounts of money and don’t take it personally if people cannot pay the service charge it’s optional some people are hard up and save for a meal like this. Thanks to ottos for the experience it’s something I will not forgot the French know how to eat drink and live that’s for sure there food brings joy all round the globe they are very passionate people when it comes to hospitality.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Villa Mamas. The moment I stepped inside, the space felt warm and inviting — relaxed, stylish, and with a touch of homely Gulf charm that sets the tone for the entire meal. It’s the kind of restaurant where you instantly feel at ease. The food was the standout. I ordered the machboos, and it was exceptional — beautifully seasoned, aromatic, and full of depth without ever feeling heavy. Every bite had that comforting home-cooked quality, but elevated with precision and balance. You can clearly taste the chef’s roots and passion in the way each dish is put together. The service was also excellent. Staff were attentive without hovering, and genuinely friendly. They guided me through a few menu recommendations and checked in just the right amount. It made the experience feel personal rather than routine. Overall, this is one of the best Middle Eastern meals I’ve had in London. Authentic flavours, generous portions, a great atmosphere, and a team that really knows how to make guests feel welcome. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“Booking was easy online. While I needed to make a time change which required a phone call, it was quick and easy to do. We went for the all you can eat tacos, but found so many yummy things on the menu we ordered other items instead. The Ghost Rider Marguerita was delicioso, the homemade chips and guacamole was excellent (pomegranate seeds were a nice touch), the Mexican Fattoush salad was fantastic - finally some health vegetables on my holiday! The chicken and carne asada tacos were small yet superb. We could have ordred another plate, if we wanted, but opted for desert instead. The Empinada for me with chantilly creame was a perfect end. My wife apprciates ambiance, which Madera has even without the 15th floor view. Though of course, having the best meal on our holiday, while watching the sunset over London was a perfect end to our day. Last, but not least Sabuj took attentive care of us all throughout our experience. We are already planning on returning soon.”

Migma & Indu made it so special for her by bringing out a Brownie with a birthday candle & singing happy birthday to her. They also wrote a birthday message, gave her a bar of chocolate & bottle of drink. Certainly above & beyond.xxx”

“Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't want to raise anyone's expectations of this place, but in my personal opinion, this is the closest to authentic Japanese cuisine that I've ever had, especially when there's plenty of Japanese restaurants around the area. Their plating was really well done, just like fine dining. The taste of the food was just as good as the presentation, and the amount of care put into making it can be felt through tasting the dishes, especially the wagyu beef roll which just melts in your mouth. Experience was better than I expected as the server we had, which looked like the manager was really good at doing her job, and the way she interacted with us was like she was a friend, which shows how experienced she was at dealing with customers. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed it and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a new place to eat Japanese food with a fair price around London, Soho.”

“We had our lab Christmas dinner at Pizza Pilgrims Camden and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. The food was excellent- the usual deliciousness and high standards from Pizza Pilgrims :) The team and the organisation of the dinner was exceptional, we were a large group and we were working with tight time constraints but they made sure the dinner ran to schedule, all dietary requirements were met and most importantly the dinner was really fun. “Hands down the best sushi and omakase experience you can get in the whole of the UK. The quality of ingredients is second to none, and the atmosphere is so intimate and friendly you get to know everyone at the bar. Staff are attentive and the owners promote conversation and really get to know you and everyone else. In between each plate you spend time talking and watching Toru do what he does best. If you can manage to book, this is something you don’t want to miss. I will definitely be coming back, and hopefully become a regular!”

“Spectacular pizzeria (also tapas bar) in North London, stone-baked pizzas at 500°, perfect dough and high-quality ingredients. The tapas are better than many places in Spain, especially the garlic prawns. The place is tastefully designed, the decor, the lighting... and the music are also very cleverly chosen. The lamb and chicken wings were out of this world – so tender and juicy, they practically melted in your mouth. The kebabs were some of the best I've ever tasted, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was great too. “Very nice change to the usual food places in Sevenoaks, and it's not often outside of London you get South American food in my experience. Tried the Arepa Pabellón which consists of shredded beef, black beans, plantain, and grated cheese, in corn bread. Apparently the most popular Arepa that people get. For £10.50 I definitely think it's worth it, as the flavour was excellent and it was jammed full of ingredients! My photography doesn't do it justice! The lady that served me was friendly and music was playing while my food was being prepared. I will definitely be back!”
