Really cool place to grab a birria taco, complete with conssume!

When Mercato first opened this place was amazing, though may have been a different operation. Over the years it has deteriorated severely. I keep hoping it's a temporary glitch and each time it's worse. The tacos this time weren't even real taco, but seemed to be the supermarket style hardshells. There are no fillings any more other than the main one and some lettuce and raw red onion. What used to be interesting now comes across as lazy and lack lustre.

Was really yummy, very well presented, tacos were really good and full of flavour. Would highly recommend especially on Taco Tuesday!! Guy was really polite and had great customer service.

Wish I'd read the reviews... Really bad tacos, 3x for £12 - tasteless pork, and the beef tacos were more Bolognese tasting (who uses beef mince?!) than mexican slow cooked beef. No pickled onions, just poorly cut raw onions... no salsa added.

Very average tacos. Avoid. Meat was okay but otherwise was iceberg lettuce, raw red onion and red Leicester cheese.

Very average tacos. Reasonable portion size in that you get 3 but they were pretty limp - splats of cubed sweet potato with fake guac and red onions, lacking salsa or hot sauce so not much flavour.

I wish I could give 0 stars but I can't. Terrible tacos, terrible experience. The food was cold, tasteless and very soggy. The tacos were very soft, uncooked and they were falling apart. Would you even call that a taco? I think that the Mexican cuisine needs to be better represented

I sat right next to the food stalls and they gave me a buzzer to tell me the food was ready. After 10 minutes I thought it was strange how it hadn’t gone off, I went to ask and it had been ready the whole time but they couldn’t be bothered to inform me or let the buzzer go off. The sweet potato tacos were bland and cold. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had a burrito and selected smoky beef, turned out to be beef mince. Overall the burrito felt greasy, mushy and incredibly overpriced. So many great options at mercato, I wouldn't try this again.

Asked for veggies with the nachos and was told point blank no. They were dry, cheese was plastic American style. I wouldn’t go back.
