   I had the vegetarian soft and hard tacos. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavours were balanced and satisfying. I liked the contrast between the soft and crunchy shells it made the meal more interesting. The staff were friendly, and service was quick. They also offer student discounts, which is a great bonus! I only wished the portions were a bit bigger, but overall, it’s a solid spot for a fresh and casual meal.

   Visited for a Friday lunch with a colleague, first time for both of us it being my treat. My step son visits here regularly on his weekly office day at work. Plenty of seating, clear menu choices lead to our decision as below: Toasted Burrito White Rice Black Beans Pulled Pork Cheese Sour cream Lettuce Tomato salsa Red chilli sauce Regular classic bowl Black rice Pinto beans Zam Chicken Cheese Lettuce Tomato Salsa Sweetcorn Salsa Red Onion & Coriander Salsa Guacamole Verde Sauce Lime Juice A very enjoyable meal shared in good company. Plate4Plate charitable scheme counter on the wall is a nice touch alongside the ecological cutlery & packaging. We both loved our lunches and look forward to revisiting and trying other varieties.

   First time ever visiting a Zambrero restaurant! The lady serving was incredibly friendly and helpful, talking us through all of the options for a burrito. We ordered and dined in, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was extremely tasty and fresh, and by far the best burrito we have had in a very long time. We were also very interested to read about the ‘Plate4Plate’ scheme they have going where they donate meals to people without food when they sell a burrito or bowl! It made us feel good about dining there. 100% would recommend.

   Have been here three times now and it’s becoming my go-to place for lunch or dinner! I used to go to Taco Bell for my Mexican food cravings, but since coming here, I appreciate the freshness and flavours more. Whilst it’s a bit pricey, with my Winter Warmer and can of Coke coming to just over £10, I know that I’ll be leaving there absolutely stuffed! I love the many customisable options every step of the way and it’s very easy to order to your liking. My only critique is that the Squid loyalty system is a bit poor and you have to spend a lot of money to get something substantial after 10 stamps. 5 stamps gets you free guacamole, and considering that’s 60p extra (I think), it’s a bit skimpy! I’d like to see a better loyalty system. Other than that, I’ll continue to come here and I hope Zambrero is here to stay!

   Was on my way to Taco Bell when I found this place. I have eaten here twice and have to say they are awesome. The food is amazing and for the price genuinely impressive. Their burritos are fantastic and the choice of fillings is good. Friendly staff and easy to order. They also do a lot for charity. My new favourite place for a lunch in Chelmsford

   Popped in for a Burrito with the kids, Josh was really helpful and knowledgeable nothing was too much trouble. A real example of how customer service should be done. Almost forgot to mention how good the beef burrito was.

   Great service form George!! Fillings burst out of the burritos!! They taste good too!!! A wee bit pricey. £7 for a small burrito :( £11.25 for burrito and 2 bottled juices One big gripe - the salad bits are close together so we could see onion had violated the sweet corn!! Lol My teen hates onions!! So we had to avoid the sweet corn! Boooo

   Opening day review! Came for lunch, tried the beef and chicken burrito bowls. Ingredients are nice and fresh, good sized portion, enjoyed the salsa. Guacamole is £1 extra, it was hard to tell that it wasn’t just avocado, could do with a bit more flavour. Overall it was a decent lunch, felt nice and healthy and will be back for sure!
