   For some reason we were less than keen to visit this restaurant yet today's first visit has turned out to be a pleasant surprise. First all the restaurant offers fairly authentic Chinese food - forget about the high street take away stores. Nonetheless authentic is a word being abused by many other restaurants nowadays. Even though this restaurant boasts of their speciality in Sichuan cursine (the west part of China famous for extremely spicy food), two Cantonese dishes which were ordered were of equally high quality too. The food portion was generous compared to many other restaurants. I would say if one is looking for those western blended Chinese food, this restaurant is probably not the right choice. Yet for people who are keen to give authentic Chinese food a try, here is the place they can consider.

   We visited Panda Restaurant for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, with generous portions that offered great value for money. Prices are very reasonable, making it a solid choice for both quality and affordability. Service was warm and highly attentive, though at times it felt a little chaotic, perhaps due to the lunchtime rush. Nonetheless, the staff were friendly and eager to help. The restaurant was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. A great spot for a casual meal with flavour and good service. Would definitely return.

   This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.

   Liked this and feels very authentic. Menu certainly has many things that you won't find in your typical high street Chinese. Good range of spicy Sichuan dishes and we enjoyed everything we had. Star mention to the lotus root.
