The food is delicious. Quick service Friendly staff- even they suggest the sauce for the food. They also split our order.

This is regular stop for us when we come to Kew. Arriving at the opening time the dumplings are always fresh. We had to wait a bit for the griddle to heat up for the crepe, but it was worth it. Better than others we have had in Chinatown and Shoreditch.

My wife and I were rushing to the airport and got a bit lost, some train lines were closed, and stumbling upon this place in a hurry and quite hungry. We ordered two pork bao and two Thai milk teas. The bao was freshly handmade on the spot, and super juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Thai milk tea was equally satisfying, perfectly hitting the spot. The service was impressively quick, which was a lifesaver given our tight schedule. We ordered, waited just a few minutes, ate, and were back on our way. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in the UK.

Same dish: 10/10 in many parts of mainland China, 7/10 in London’s Chinatown, 4/10 here. This is fast food, so don’t expect pancakes fresh off the griddle — it’s just two eggs with some crunchy bits for £9.5. Dumpling skins? Standard frozen supermarket fare. The “since 1858” claim on the sign is pure marketing fluff. Prices are sky-high, even by London standards. All the dishes look beautiful and photograph brilliantly, but the taste is… let’s just say, best left unsaid. Great for Instagram, though. I’ve lived in London for more than 17 years, eaten at more Chinese restaurants and fast-food joints than I can count — and this one is firmly below average.

I bought two signature pork buns and they were absolutely delicious! The texture of the bun was just right—soft and fluffy with a satisfying bite. It was the perfect energy boost, especially enjoyed in the lovely Kew garden. The wantons and pancakes also looked amazing—definitely planning to try them on my next visit! Please note this is a small boutique eatery with limited seating inside, mainly geared for takeaway.

Today was my first time here having wanted to go for a while. The food is just unbelievably good. The pancake thing with chicken sausage is one of the best things I've ever eaten for £6. I will definitely be coming back.

I accidentally slept on the underground and arrived at Kew Garden. Found this neat little place next to the station. They sell nearly-identical Chinese bao dumplings and authentic jianbing (Chinese savory pancake). It tastes just like what you get in Beijing. In fact, it’s the only place in West London where you can actually get Jianbing at all. I was surprised to find out because they don’t advertise this item on Google.

Bao-tastic Reluctant to leave a review about this place as it’s a hidden gem. The bao’s are delicious - pork is the traditional signature dish - but prawn and chives is my personal favourite. But also try the pancake and wanton soup. It can get busy sometimes as it’s about the size of a bao. It’s mainly a take away place - however there are some seats to dine in. But it’s family run, fast and very yummy

I came to try the pork baos all the way from central London and it did not disappoint. Everything was hand made on the spot and the shop owners and servers were really nice - they were like a family. One thing to note is that it is mostly a take away place, though they have 3-4 seats bar-style. Definitely recommend the pork baos, and potstickers and Tianjin / chinese crepes were good too.
