Reasonably priced food. Take away and cash only. A bit outdated including the decor. You need to phone to order. No waiting inside since after COVID. Glad they don't have a cashless policy.
Peter’s used to be great with the old owners, but since the new lady took over the front desk, everything has gone downhill fast. She’s extremely rude, aggressive, and acts like she’s entitled and always right, even when she’s clearly in the wrong. The whole atmosphere has changed because of her attitude. On top of that, the food is now terrible. What I got was barely edible — cold, bland, and nothing like the quality they used to serve. This place has completely fallen apart. I won’t be returning until there’s a serious change in management and the food goes back to the standard it once had.
I love this place. They have great food, very consistent and tasty. They have good vegetarian and gluten free option. The food that is marked spices is actually spicy and definitely delicious. Would recommend, great value!
I’m a regular customer for a year now… Not impressed with the young girl attitude, she needs to work on her customer service skills - bad attitude literally! The food quality as of this year has not been up to standards, found hair in my food multiple times, upset stomach whenever I order king prawn friend rice. They DONT take card payments! My partner and I have agreed to no longer support Peter’s Chinese due to these factors. I wouldn’t want to eat from people like this unfortunately!
Hidden gem. Good service, good value, quick and food didn't disappoint. heard about Peters a few times on social media and decided to give it a go even though they are 25 mins away from me. Food was good quality and tasty. Would definitely recommend and will be going back soon. Salt and chilli chicken wings pack a punch for sure. Sweet and sour chicken was tasty, a good balance of sweet and tang flavour. Chicken batter was a little bit tough but otherwise well made. Singapore fried rice and rice noodles were flavoursome with a good mix of pepper and curry flavour but I still added chili oil when I got home. My partner couldn't finish hers as the chillies burnt her mouth. It would be nice to have bean sprouts in the rice too! Sorry, some of the pics were after we started eating. It's cash only so come correct.
Been using Peters for years, have tried many others (friends choice), have not ordered for a while, but tonight's order just confirmed to me how good peters is, best in the area by far, good prices, great service, great staff, great food, yes it is cash only but well worth the trip to the cashpoint
Foods okay but far too oily my main issue with this place is the level of service the employed these two women and they are so rude and lack customer service skills one of them is clearly racist sorry but they won't be getting any of my hard working cash ethnic minorities please stay away from this business please do not support these badminded women and their business
I’ve been coming to Peters Chinese for decades and would not go elsewhere! The food is delicious, always consistent and the staff are lovely. Best Chinese takeaway!!
Peter’s is known as one of the best Chinese food restaurants in the area, can’t go wrong, an absolutely amazing spot. Their prices are decent but the food is great.
