   Absolutely disgusting for nearly £30! You get the option for extra chilli but I could barely find one chilli in all 3 meals! Soggy chips and anemic looking crispy beef, im fuming!!

   This company is a SCAM they accept my order on Deliveroo then change it to collection only , then they told me to make a new order they will cancel the only one I then tried to make a new order and they reject me because apparently I am to far away from them or restaurant so I had to make a new order from a new restaurant? Completely a big SCAM! They just want to take money

   We were recommended by a friend saying how good the food was, and they probably had a good night with their food. Our order was not pleasant at all. The beef chow mein was very chewy, the egg fried rice was like a slab when serving with orange bits in which probably was the egg, and the crispy chilli beef lived up to its name, it was too crispy and very brittle. not happy at all for the price we paid.

   Disgrace.........nearly 2 hours and our food still isn't here.......call to find out what's going on and they've got no idea what's happening....said the food will be here when they knock at the door....just kept getting palmed off.......still not here but let's hope its right.........steer well clear they are useless

   Delievery took 1 hour 40 minutes. They said it was waiting to be delivered but then said it wasn't cooked. Portions are small - whole box no where near full

   Used to be much better. We haven’t ordered from here for a while until tonight, it used to be better. Crispy chilli beef is now more onion with tiny side of beef. The paid for bag of prawn crackers has halved in size and the egg fried rice has no taste. It’s a shame but will go elsewhere from now on

   Golden Orient is a local Chinese takeaway, and although the food could be worse, it could be a lot better. The quality of some dishes can widely range between visits, as can the meat to sauce amounts. I think their biggest problem is when it comes to amount of orders. They're consistently late with their deliveries and even on collection orders, simply I think because they take on so many more orders than they can manage. While I was picking up my order (which was ready 30 minutes later than the 30 minutes I'd already been told it would take to be ready) the receptionist took 2 more phone orders. I feel like there needs to be more control over the amount of orders that they can take, which would lead to a lot less complaints I feel. The takeaway is reasonably priced, but I'd suggest ordering very well in advance of you actually wanting to eat to avoid disappointment
