Literally the best, most crave-worthy βI-know-a-spotβ restaurant in east London. Iβve been here about a billion times, and itβs always unreal. The whole menu is vegan, the staff are all adorable, the menu rotates to keep things interesting but keeps fan favourites on. 10/10 definitely eat here guys you wonβt regret it.

Everything a restaurant should be, cool interior, extremely friendly owners, delicious unique and authentic food, perfect timing on dishes, clean, amazing service, changing menu that keeps staples, literally zero complaints, best restaurant in London (have been here 5 times and itβs consistently amazing!)

Thanks a lot for being so welcoming and nice making the experience of having dinner more enjoyable. We loved the food so much, you can tell is made from fresh ingredients and with love. Tasting and powerful flavours. Also we loved the cocktails! We Iβll be returning for sure.

Such a fantastic place. The whole menu is vegan and the three dishes we tried (cabbage, cauliflower and the Dan Dan noodles) were fantastic. The service was quite quick, and the food was spot on. Very spicy though, so ask about it if you can't handle your spice. I need to go back to try the other dishes. The rotating menu sounds great to keep the novelty when you visit again. The place is quite small, so if you don't book be aware that you might not be able to get a seat, or might have to wait a bit. Loved it! β€οΈ

This has got to be my current fav Chinese restaurant in London! Excellent food and so much variety. Only downside is that some dishes can be oily but everything was tasty nevertheless. Recommend the scallion pancake, crispy cauliflower, stir fry cabbage, and dan dan noodles

Really enjoyed this - very impressed with the fact it is all vegan and I believe they make their own vegan meat in-house too. Our favourites which really stood out were the tiger skin cheeseburger (incredible) and the chop and rice. The dumplings were a tad hard but the chili oil delicious, the Dan Dan noodles were okay but not particularly as punchy in flavour as the cheeseburger and chop and rice. Dry fry beans were also tasty. We also enjoyed the novelty of the ice cream sundae which came with chili oil and soy sauce caramel! Would like to come back to try some other dishes, it sounds like the menu is updated regularly. It would be good if they had some additional non alcohol drinks and some tea on the menu though. Keep up the good work!

Really delicious vegan Sichuan food. You can tell it is cooked and prepared with skill and care. It is quite expensive and not huge portions, but I didn't mind paying as an occasional treat, especially as there is no way I could make this stuff at home. I do wish the music was MUCH quieter (it's a restaurant not a club! I want to have a conversation over dinner!) and the seats were more comfortable - that would make it 5 stars.

The food is super delicious! Yes London prices but the portions are not small. The only thing I did not enjoy was the super loud music - hard to talk to people I am having dinner with.

Great new restaurant from the folks behind Mao Chow. Tiny but great ambiance and speed of service. Delicious, well seasoned food and love that the entire menu was vegan! Think theyβre still getting through launch phase - we went in a group and werenβt able to split the bill. Music volume was a just a tad loud. Great addition to Mare Street dining options and would return.
