    Brocklehursts are my go-to for any country attire and are the main reason we often visit Bakewell as they aren't local to us, their knowledge about the products they sell is second to none and the staff are always friendly with a warm greeting while still being respectful to not make you feel pressured as you browse. A special thank you to Martin who has assisted with several purchases including a suit I needed for a summer wedding, his knowledge and customer service skills are some of the best I've been fortunate enough to experience. He is always a pleasure to deal with and will endeavour to make sure you leave with what is the right product for you. A lot of retailers could learn from his approach.

    I went in yesterday to purchase my new beating clothing for this season, I was greeted and guided through the whole process by an older gentleman who was brilliant he even stayed past their closing time to help me get the right clothing for me. What also stood out to me was his customer service it was brilliant I was having issues with my bank card at the till but the older gentleman completely understood and gave me a call back today to pay via bank transfer and he has also sent my items out with dpd. For anyone wanting any country,shooting or equine clothing I can highly recommend them and I will definitely be coming back to purchase my partners shooting clothing.

    As a busy osteopath hard wearing work trousers were an issue. They would typically last 12 months and I tried a whole variety of retailers. A visit to Brocklehursts was well worth it. Their own branded trousers well worth it. Bought 4 pairs which lasted 4-5 years and still going. Recently bough another 3 pairs as fancied a refresh. The advice you get (which I really needed) and careful guidance from friendly staff is second to none. Excellent local business which deservidly wins my support. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

    Called at Brocklehursts (Matlock Road) at the weekend. Was served by Zena who has previously helped us buy wellington boots and my husband some Loake boots at Christmas. Like the other staff in both Bakewell shops she goes the extra mile in customer service. She has excellent product knowledge and is super helpful. We love to shop in both stores and will continue to do so.
