   Visited this store 17th June 3-4pm. Woman behind the counter asked me to sanitize. I was wearing disposable gloves. Despite the fact that this was a perfectly acceptable alternative in several other stores in Bakewell and in every supermarket I've shopped at since the arrival of coronavirus, it was not acceptable here. "We don't allow gloves in this store" note absence of the word sorry. Fair enough, these are difficult times, we're all worried. It was her tone that was the problem. Sharp, unfriendly and was shouted out in front of other customers who turned to look. So I left, embarrassed. Such a shame, I visit the store every time I go to Bakewell and spent hundreds of pounds there over the years and received excellent service and helpfulness. Won't be going back.
