This lovely restaurant was recommended by a friend. We went today the Boxing Day for a family meal at lunch time. We had the BBQ and hot pot. There’s lots of great selection of meat, seafood , fruits and vegetables. I was quite surprised by the freshly made nan bread, pizza, kimchi, shushi and so on. Definitely good value for money and parking nearby is very convenient as well.

The branch is listed to close at 10:30 PM and we had a booking for 8:30 PM, but by 9:00 PM staff had already started cleaning the food counters with steel wool while food was still displayed. Most counters were empty with leftover food and no refills. The Indian counter had fewer than four leftover dishes. Live lamb and prawn cooking took over 20 minutes, during which time the other counters went completely empty. Very disappointing experience. Paid extra £4.20 for a coke. Its not the staff fault to clean and empty the counters while customers are still eating, its the management who are responsible for maintaining or improving standards, provide extra time for your staff to finish their cleaning duties after the restaurant closing time.

Your payment didn't go through! As soon as we sat, the reception guy rushed to our table- saying that, your payment didn't go through! Hang on, the payment was well over £100 and I had to insert my card and entered pin code manually. So, there is no way they would have let us in if the payment didn't go through and I got the card payment receipt on me. The guy wanted to see my card payment receipt, I gave him to take a look and he forcefully took it away from me. When I asked for my proof of payment (I don't do online banking, hence don't have any evidence in my possession to prove my payment) while at the restaurant. The Chinese looking guy insisted me to go to the reception to get one. I replied, could you bring a copy please? He said- he can not leave the reception empty. So, how could you come here now asking for my receipt? He promptly left, ruining our mood for the evening. Afterwards, we went to get our starters, some of the containers are half empty, some are empty. We took whatever is available and felt the food is kind of cold. Then went for the main dishes not many choices, (not as many as a buffet restaurant should have) same issue- some are half empty and looked like items were cooked a while ago. Sliced Naan bread was so hard to chew. Chicken tikka Masala didn't seem to have any chicken pieces. When we turned around, we saw some of the starters items are full now but it's too late. When we went to dessert section- we found limited options available and those were dry. Very very disappointed with the service, food and atmosphere! Do we want to spend hundreds of £££ and feel like unwelcome, experience unprofessional service and poor quality food? Absolutely not. Before leaving, I wanted to ask for the bill/receipt but no one was available at 21:06 and surprisingly the exit door was locked. We were forced to take a very smelly lift to exit the restaurant. We hope that, we do not have to return to this restaurant again, even someone offer us a free meal there. Thank you but no thanks.

First of all the guy who opened the door should be working at the reception as he greeted me and my wife in in a very professional manner, whereas the Chinese guy from reception who I spoke to didn’t understand any word coming out of my mouth clearly a language barrier there which was very annoying. Most customers will speak fluent English so I don’t know why he was at the front, the family in front of me also struggled talking to him. I tried explaining I booked a reservation under the “B1G1F" offer and that I was a little late but he said the restaurant is full so I had to pay full price which I happily did but what really got to me was the fact that numerous of tables empty and loads of people leaving so I don’t know why he lied saying the restaurant was full and there were plenty tables available from when I first came to the time I Left. I normally come here every year with my Wife and one thing I’ve always loved was the salt and pepper ribs but I see it has now been replaced with pork ribs which really are upsetting, there was no desert from beginning to end so I had to have some of this raspberry cream thing in big silver pot, I understand deserts are freshly made but I paid so I could eat the food and desert. If I could be refunded that would be good as this I’ll be my last time going JRC after 5 years In a row

I had a bad dinner experience there yesterday at Ilford branch. I will not return again. Food availability was sparse and the quality was below average. Some food were cold and tired looking. Truly overpriced for the amount of food I could consume there. Would've been better money spent elsewhere. Disappointing!!

Varieties of Oriental and continental dishes with varied deserts options. Live station of dumplings, lamb chops. Kids friendly, costs 22/person on weekdays. I would say it's expensive comparing to Jimmy's. Over all taste was good Nd average. Friendly staffs and bottomless drink additional £3.50. clean rest room. Room space was bit less. It was crowded. Pan Asian food available!

Disappointed. Last came before covid. Rating at that time was 8/10. Now it is a terrible 0/10. Poor quality, lack of choice, extra for drinks, no choice in thai- which was star quality. Desserts- serving defrosted cakes and choc chip cookies and bounty halves- as dessert! Where are the macrons, cheesecakes, freshly baked cakes, chocolate fountain????? I never leave a review but this place has gone down the pan. Shame as it was a highlight in Ilford. Don't come here.

Excellent set of menu….a lot of variety of foods… love the place…customer service was not great..they do not fill up the empty pots immediately…they even charge for a 2 years old kids if they are taller than 90cm.

For £21 per adult, £11 per child, it's not too bad here. They a wide variety of dishes but I guess maybe I'm a bit of a picky eater, I still find it hard to find more than 5 I can actually eat. I find that most of their dishes are not well-seasoned. I still had to add a little salt to give it lift and I don't even like salty food. I've given a 3 star cause I think the kids liked the food especially the desert area including marsh mellows and chocolate fountain.
