   This is the only Chinese we use. We absolutely love it. Had to use another restaurant in Hornchurch this week as The Oriental City is closed for 5 ish weeks due to holiday. I can’t wait for them to reopen in a few weeks as there is no comparison in the area. Delicious

   Oriental City is our go to every Friday night as it’s by far the best Chinese in Elm Park and surrounding. Loveliest staff who make you feel welcome and always up beat and great to chat with. Food is always fresh and really tasty, they deliver exceptionally quickly where the food is always hot and they never forget a thing. Trust me we’ve tried all local Chinese takeaways several times…and oriental city is head and shoulders above. I’m quick to avoid the same takeaway again if they take too long to deliver, food quality dips week to week etc but this is never the case with Oriental City! Thanks for your lovely food and don’t ever close please Oriental City! Luke (the extra fresh cut and chilli oil man)

   I ordered just a few dishes for NYE knowing its obviously a very busy time of year for takeaways. I specifically asked how long the food is likely to take before collection and was told 30 minutes. After 55 mins of waiting outside in the freezing cold the food was finally ready, xx minutes after being told 85 minutes for it to be ready. If they had told me the wait was this long, it wouldn't have been a problem but they blatantly lied causing people to wait outside on one of the coldest days of the year. I wouldn't use again out of pricipal as I do not appreciate being misled.

   Terrible, had used this takeaway for 5 years - dishes were absolutely awful on last order. Completely not what it was before, called them up, not interested in sorting out - had to go in & return food for a full refund. Saturday night dinner ruined after looking forward to it all week. June 2020 one star is generous!

   Disappointed, I ordered salt and pepper spare ribs and got home to find out the spare ribs was already prepared with barbecue sauce so sweet. I called to let them know as I leave far so could not return,. Instead of apologising, the lady went on saying all their pork are always marinated in barbeque and would not apologise. I have already bought there once before and it had no barbeque. Also i was charged £11.60 for two portions when their leaflet says £5.10 per portion. So i would definitely not be going back
