   Been searching for a good Chinese takeaway in Hornchurch for a while and we have found it at last. The food was very good, fresh and decent portion sizes. Not greasy and very flavoursome. We collected and it was ready quickly and all piping hot.

   If you order food from here collect it yourself. Took over an hour for it to be delivered and arrived warm, so it must have been sitting around for a long while. Once reheated it was ok, but nothing special. I will give it another chance as previously it was good, but I'll pick it up myself.

   DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT (Wednesday 31st July 2024). We had found a dead fly in our egg fried rice, which is absolutely disgusting and I will be reporting to the Food Standards Agency. This is ironic considering that they have a FSA rating of five (as of 14/11/2022)!! We had plated the food and just before consumption the fly was found, if this was eaten this could be potentially caused any type of disease/illness as flies carry bacteria on them. Safe to say that I had brought that food back up as I did NOT want that in my system. The chicken chow-mein we had also bought was chemically in taste, the only taste we could liken it to be was paint thinner. I had searched online to see what that could cause that taste and my findings were that the sesame oil could be rancid or the noodles were left out for an extended period of time and then refried on the wok. The woks that they are using could be coated in a non food safe/grade paint which can be carcinogenic and can cause cancer later down the line. These two significant failings by Fu Wing, Hornchurch has put me off from ever coming back to this establishment as a customer. We took the food back to Fu Wing and then the woman at the counter had the audacity to argue by saying “the fly should’ve been flattened if it was found/cooked in the rice”. Nevertheless, the fly should have never been in the rice to begin with!!! I would not recommend this business to any paying customer as I doubt anybody would want to buy contaminated food.

   After our old local Chinese takeaway closing we have been searching to no avail to find a good quality Chinese takeaway. Well the search is over. Fantastic food, service and value for money. Although it's a drive there is only one choice as far as CV we are all concerned for future Chinese takeaways. We could had it delivered but we always like to collect. Thanks ever so much!

   Really impressed with this restaurant. I wasn't sure what to expect. Food was very fresh, good quality and tasty. My first order, didn't think there was any good Chinese takeaway in Hornchurch after trying so many in the past and always disappointed. I always had to travel out of the area for Chinese takeaways. Fu Wing, you have worn me over and hope you remain consistent and I will be your loyal customer.

   Great quality food and tastes amazing, just make sure you order in plenty of time because whether you opt for delivery or collection it’s always late. On NYE had to wait 45mins after the collection time we were told. Tonight we ordered a delivery at 5:30pm for 7pm arrival, it didn’t arrive until nearly 8pm. We had to phone twice to find out where it was.
