I came in midday Wednesday and was served by a lovely young lady called Hannah. She was very helpful and friendly while I was purchasing some shoes. Will definitely come again.
Walked in today to purchase my 31st pair of adidas, asked an employee if I could get a display pair while he was talking to his mate . Got it asked for my size and awaited to pay , the box was brought down and I continued to wait to pay , the two employees continued to do tasks , while still waiting. A polite I will only be one moment would of been all I needed but continued to not lift there head up or acknowledge me , this was the moment I gave up. People say the high streets dying but why be treat like this while wanting to spend in store .
Like others here, I also experienced an issue with an expensive pair of shoes that became faulty after just a few weeks. Unfortunately, I found no reasonable help in resolving the problem. I bought a pair of ASICS for £90 (even with a discount) and within a few weeks they started developing a hole, exposing hard plastic on the inside — which caused discomfort while wearing them. I went back to the store 6 weeks after purchase, and the store refused to offer a repair, replacement, or refund, repeatedly referring to a 28-day policy and telling me this was do to wear. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose — and within the first 6 months, faults are legally presumed to have been present at the time of purchase. In-store staff now claims I haven’t treated the shoes properly, and customer care have even suggested I have been "forcing my feet" into the shoes — which is completely absurd. Even if that had been the case (which it isn’t), a £90 pair of shoes should not fall apart after only a few weeks of normal use. To make matters worse, the store kept telling me to speak to Customer Care, while Customer Care insisted it was the store's responsibility. Poor service for a brand selling selling such expensive shoes! I honestly don’t understand why they didn’t just apologise and offer a replacement. It would have cost them very little and avoided all this frustration.
Went in to have a look round while I was in York for the day and was so impressed by the standard of service. I was greeted warmly by a lady I then found out was the Store Manager, Jade. She helped me pick a trainer that suited my price range and gave me some style advice which was really helpful. She was able to tell me a lot of information about each of the options she was providing too which was brilliant. Overall a brilliant experience and I would highly recommend the store to anyone.

I work in retail, this store has some fantastic customer service and a wide selection of fashionable shoes too, from £30-£200 they also have great selection of clothes from tops to hoodies, joggers to hats, will definitely visit again the next time i’m in york!
Cracking shop and some nice upto date sneakers m, as a sneaker head, this is paradise.
The staff I have spoken to seem nice enough ,be it short and to the point with some, I have had a few pairs of shoes from here, but forget it if you want a fair shot at the good shoes , I might be too sceptical but it always seems to be the same faces there as soon as it opens on the day of drops of the desirable rare shoes, and they always go out with multiple bags of shoes ? and the staff have them too on the day they release (staff vid of personal shoes on instagram today wearing the just released rain cloud 2002r's , recently released red thunders , size? own dunk also newly released recently ), there is meant to be a raffle for them , I know backdoor trading happens everywhere but it really annoys me
Great service at Size? York yesterday. Friendly staff and seemed genuinely interested in trainers. 1st time in a very long time that I’d bought trainers in a shop rather than online & wasn’t disappointed. Thanks & will definitely be back.
