Let’s first start with getting the table process, we had a reservation for 6 pm , and we arrived 10 minutes early. For which we were very politely asked to wait at the bar which we did. However , even after it was past 6 we were not given the table. Now I personally don’t mind waiting for 10-15 mins if we came unannounced, but given this place who comes in the top rows of London fine dining I would have preferred not waiting for my table post my reserved time. After asking for the table twice we finally got it at 6:15 . So this was a bit disappointing. However, everything went uphill going forward. The waiter who attended us knew his job and answered all our queries with patience and most importantly a smile. We ordered the premium tasting menu which had very elaborate 4 courses and the taste was to die for. From the starters, the sashimis, the roasted fish( which was the best) and the beef fillets , all of them hit the spot. And to finish , came the desert platter which had a Roka plated chocolate cake with green tea in it , something I have never tasted and hit the right notes. All together the bill was 300£+ which is definitely in a pricier side , but I won’t mind given the amount and quality of the food served . The best Japanese inspired tasting menu so far !!

Excellent atmosphere and service. The menu is quite short, but you can focus on the flavors. This is a two-story restaurant with the same menu. However, the ground floor is more intimate. It's primarily for dates. Very low red color lights and playing a dj. The ground floor features a beautiful bar counter with an open kitchen and bar. The service is very customer-focused. The food was fresh, tasty , but I was not say it’s beyond the space. It’s high quality cuisine. The general impression is more experience, atmospheric great date time My rating 4,7 for this lever of the restaurant

Amazing Australian Wagyu (halal). The sashimi selection was very well presented along with the nigiri selection. The desert was spectacular. The steak was tender and well cooked. Overall an amazing experience.

We got the lunch menu available till 6pm and was still able to order at 5:56pm which is brilliant if you work late! The sushi was great very fresh and the lots of variety too. With the premium lunch you get a filet of steak which was lovely and tender but was not a great portion and the peanut sauce for the starters salad could do with a lot more seasoning. Otherwise I loved the service and great spot for amazing quality sushi in London !!

I’ve been dining at ROKA for years, and it never ceases to impress me. The quality, consistency, and attention to detail are truly exceptional — it’s one of those rare restaurants where every visit feels like a special occasion. The menu celebrates Japanese cuisine in its most refined yet approachable form. The otoro is simply out of this world — melt-in-your-mouth texture, perfectly balanced flavour, and always incredibly fresh. The pork ribs are equally remarkable: tender, caramelised to perfection, and bursting with umami. Every bite reminds you why ROKA has earned its reputation as one of London’s finest dining experiences. Service is always impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, with staff who know the menu inside out and take genuine pride in what they do. The atmosphere combines energy and elegance in perfect harmony, whether you’re seated by the robata grill or in a more intimate corner. ROKA is not just a restaurant — it’s a benchmark for how modern Japanese cuisine should be experienced. After so many years, it remains one of my absolute favourites in London, and I can say without hesitation: it never disappoints.

Upscale restaurant in Mayfair. We made reservations in advance for the counter which turned out to be pretty cool watching the restaurant’s open kitchen. We had the seasonal signature menu (77 GBP pp) which was more than enough + 4 great cocktails. All dishes were delicious and special. The prices are fair for upscale rest’. A lot of reviews mentioned the slow and poor service. I wouldn’t say it’s poor but it definitely can be slow. Don’t let it ruin your experience and give one of the manager a notice about it (and hey maybe you’ll get free cocktails.

Amazing dinner! The restaurant is gorgeous, impeccable service and absolutely great food. We had the tuna tatami, some vegetables and sushi (actually not from their specials), and everything was really good. It is of course not a cheap meal but I expected it to be more expansive. 35 GMP per person.

Meal for two at 6:30, at the counter. Can recommend the counter - really good to see the kitchen making the food. Food was really good. Maybe we ordered well, but nothing disappointed. Service was good. Attentive enough, nothing to complain about. Didn’t have much to drink (nursing a bit of a hangover), just a glass of wine, a couple of sakes and a pair of non-alcoholic drinks. Bill was £170. Not terrible, but I could imagine easily spending £300 with a bit more food and a few G&Ts and wines.

Service at this restaurant was great tonight for our anniversary. The food is beautifully presented and the black cod definitely stole the show. The flavours were amazing! Beautiful restaurant and layout. Had a table overseeing the grill and it was very cool seeing the different dishes being cooked and plated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our waiter was helpful in answering all our questions and made the experience enjoyable. She recommend the beef ribs and it did not disappoint. We did seem to have what looked like a small fly in our cocktail. We spoke to one of the staff members which then called over the manager who had a look and without any hassle got us a new drink.

Booked the group dining room for my birthday, Grace who I liaised with to make the booking was super helpful and answered all my questions. The dining room itself is beautiful and perfect for group dinners/celebrations. The service was amazing from the start, all the staff were lovely, super helpful and accommodating. We all had the seasonal tasting menu, it’s great because there’s no faffing around with everyone ordering they just start bringing out the food. Food was great and was brought out in a timely manner, we were all stuffed by the end of it you get so much food for £70 tasting menu!! I had a birthday cake that I wanted to cut up and give out to my guests to take home and they gave me food boxes for this and also packed up the left over food we had for us to take home. Overall a lovely experience, would definitely recommend. Great food and great service.
