The Southport branch has been open a while but every time we've passed it's been very busy so we've waited until the fuss of the new eatery to die down. Today it looked quite quiet so we thought we'd give it a go. A very airy restaurant with pleasant, French influenced decor (of course). Clean, tidy and tables set for eating. We waited a while for our food but we weren't in a hurry and assumed, as it was a quiet time of the day, there was probably less kitchen staff. The food looked very appetizing on arrival and the taste was good too. Worth the wait. Wheelchair and pram accessible. Lots of room around the tables with a bathroom downstairs as well as the individual bathrooms upstairs. I don't have any info about the children's menu but later on there were children dining happily. All the staff were friendly and happy to help. Overall a pleasant visit and we would definitely return.

We love to eat out as a family and as a couple. We've been coming here now for a few months, and I can testify to the consistency in the standard of customer service and food. We have always been greeting promptly with a smile, whether it's been for a midweek lunch or on an evening. We have always enjoyed the atmosphere it's classy and relaxed. It's not stuffy. The music in the background is eclectic but not overpowering. The staff aren't intrusive yet are still attentive. Now to the important stuff.. The Food! We have enjoyed the change to a winter menu, and it's equally as tasty as the summer one. The meals are well thought out and presented. The menu isn't vast (I think that's a good thing) but has plenty enough for everyones tastes. You can see every care is taken, whether it's a starter or main. Hubby loves the bacon wrapped dates. I adore the sea bass. They make the perfect Amaretto sour too! Here are a small sample of the meals we've enjoyed.

First visit to Bistrot Pierre, the food and drink was fantastic with reasonable prices with a set 2/3 course menu available, service from the team was brilliant, all very helpful. The Soup, Mushrooms and Chicken Diane were very tasty but unfortunately no dauphinoise potatoes were available, substitutes were offered so we appreciated that. The cocktail menu was extensive with some delicious choices to choose from, my only issue with it being I wish you could mix and match as part of the offer for 2 for £12. Letting customers have the option to have not just the same two. Other than that, great first visit- we will definitely return, thank you.

The food was excellent and enjoyed the French Onion soup to start and being a Sundsy I went for the Roast Dinner which was fab. Great service, great food, and a spacious and friendly restaurant. The staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

We ate in Bistrot Pierre for the first time since moving to Southport, and it is fantastic. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the selection of drinks was excellent. It's well worth booking a table at the bar/restaurant.

Wonderful cocktail bar that actually has staff that can make proper old fashioned cocktails in their correct glasses and correct garnishes who know what a julep is or a zombie, as a classically taught butler in my former profession it is refreshing to see we both had one myself an alcohol free one, and had a wonderful vegetarian meal served by staff who are considerate polite and engaging and warm, we've met so many warm people up here as we've gone up the west coast but here they were wonderful who knew how to look after people a pleasure really was you can see the debased classical obelisck and the arches of the war memorial lit up by light from the windows it had been a wonderful warm bank holiday weekend and it had only just started but after a walk on the pier both of us in the sunset the lights looked lovely from the windows of the bistro. Nice place well looked after appointed and well sticked with mixes and liqueres vital for a good cocktail both of us really recommend here it was perfect before we walked back to our hotel.

Pleasantly surprised with this French Bistrot, the decor is definitely bringing you to France as well as the menu which is great, the food is gorgeous and the staff are trying their best to accommodate. I thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and can't wait to go back. Not cheap but top quality.

We really enjoyed our first visit here. The menu is excellent, the food beautifully cooked and presented, and the atmosphere spot on. We chose to sit upstairs, and it was very peaceful - only three couples at any one time. The restaurant is very spacious too, which we like. Downstairs on the other hand was full and buzzing; so each to their own. Two starters, two mains (duck and lamb) and a bottle of wine for £65.
