Fried chicken is very big, ramen and chicken katsu were both fine. Good spot for something simple and easy

My husband and I popped in for a ramen. The food was delicious and arrived in a decent time frame. I do feel that the portions are not very generous for the price. I understand charging for extra meat but believe some additional noodles would be beneficial to the portion size. We spent just under Β£20 on a dish each and honestly I cannot tell you that I left full. The restaurant was not busy while we were there but yet when we wanted to pay we waited a while to be able to ask someone for it.

Mmmmmm yes. In the cold crisp air of a wintery night, we went in to this Ippudo. The deliciousness and warmth of the ramen here absolutely hit my culinary G spot. It was completely delicious. The octopus balls are like juicy balls of heaven to the palette. The chicken based ramen was amazing, and the chicken was so soft it was almost melting in the mouth. My mouth is watering simply writing this review. Definitely go here, especially during winter where the warmth of the dish will perk you right up.

Ippudo is definitely our top ramen place. Food is always tasty but prices are going up steadily and portions are also shrinking. My chicken karage curry rice only has 2 pieces of chicken and it's Β£14?!! The chicken pieces were not too small but I would expect to have more than 2?? Noodle portions were still ok but it's closer to Β£20 now.

What a find! Popped in for a quick lunch and straight into a gastronomic dream. I had the karaka-men with extra egg. The broth was amazing and the more I are the better the taste got. I also had pickled cucumber on the side. Highly recommended!

One of our favourite places to go for ramen. Nice broth with tender charshu. Love the chicken kara-age and the buns too. A little pricey for the portions though. There’s always a queue and the wait can be quite long. Not very pleasant when it rains or during cold weather.

One of the best Japanese ramen you can get in London. Rich broth and perfectly firm chewy noodles, will have you going back for more. The only downside is there is always a queue! (Waiting time is usually quite quick, the longest we waited was probably like 45 minutes, but definitely worth the wait). Value: 3.5/5 Food: 5/5 Instagramable: 2.5/5

I expected more from "Ippudo-Style fried chicken", which turned out to be just regular fried chicken though it stillΒ made a tasty side dish. I wasΒ about to order the Shiromaru Classic for a taste of their original broth first then add some extra spicy sauce/oil on top during the meal, but glad I didn't, as there were no condiments at the table at customers' disposal. If you fancy adjusting the level of spice / flavors by yourself, then this is not the ramen restaurant for you. Noodles and broth of Karaka-Men were very nice but not the best. It should be spicy enough for the majority but not as spicy as the Extra Hot available at Tonkotsu. Portions of pork and mushrooms were obviously smaller than average, not to mention the higher price as well as the need to pay an extra Β£2 for even just one ramen egg, which by the way was very well made with a runnier center. Overall I enjoyed my lunch. It is a pricier ramen restaurant, but I believe I will revisit as their drinks menu sounds really interesting, plus staff were friendly which is a bonus.

Great experience. We ordered the vegan bao bun, the spicy ramen, the mushroom ramen, and the tofu don. Also for drinks the ube spritz and a beer. The service was good, the location also good. The food was very tasty, slightly overpriced for the portion served though. The drinks were ok. Nevertheless would visit again as it is one of the best options of that area.
