Disgusting customer service at Soho Road! Staff highly unprofessional and very rude. Today after trying 3 pairs of sandals on, me and my sister attempted to purchase these 3 pairs of shoes. My sister requested a smaller size and the lady serving us started to shout at my sister in front of everyone because we requested a smaller size. She was annoyed that she had to walk up the stairs again to the stock room to get a smaller size. She was shouting at the top of her voice in front of a store full of customers at my sister. In the end we did not purchase the items due to her rude unprofessional behaviour. We asked to speak to a manager and for the complaints policy but she refused to provide them. She also refused to give us her name but we had already asked her colleague her name earlier on. Looking at previous google reviews, there are no complaints about the products. Every complaint is about the rude staff and poor customer service. The lady who served us was called LAV or LOVE. The owner of this store should really invest customer service training as they are losing business by unintelligent rude staff members. As it stands I would not recommend this store to anyone as there shopping experience will be ruined… shame really because the products are lovely.

Today was the second time I have visited and purchased shoes s, bags and earring sets from this shop . The younger members of the staff have no manners and are quite rude . Clearly they have no customer training and need to be made to learn some basic rules of working in a shop. They don't say hello or goodbye , they don't smile or acknowledge the customers in any way . I will not be making any further purchases from this business and will be telling everyone I know not to shop there. I've read your other reviews and it's seems to be normal for this disgracefull behaviour to be used in this shop.Avoid this place at all cost

I’m deeply disappointed by the way one of your staff members treated my autistic child. The employee grabbed her hand and shouted at her, which is completely inappropriate and uncalled for. My daughter explained she is autistic, yet the staff member continued to speak to her harshly and dismissively. It is not the role of your staff to handle children in such a way, especially without understanding their needs. The lack of empathy and professionalism was shocking. I hope this is addressed seriously, no child should be made to feel unsafe or disrespected in your store. REPLY: Thank you for your response, but I need to address several serious inaccuracies and express my deep concern regarding how this situation was handled. Firstly, my daughter was not “kindly guided away” as you claim. She was grabbed by the arm and shouted at, being told she had “no manners.” This is completely unacceptable, especially as she is highly autistic and does not fully understand social norms in the way others do. We explained this clearly at the time, yet we were met with an extremely inappropriate and discriminatory comment: “If she’s disabled, you should take care of her better.” Furthermore, she was not behind the till. She briefly touched it from the customer side and did not tamper with it or cause any disruption. I was there and witnessed the entire situation, so being told false information about what happened is not only frustrating but quite insulting. What’s even more concerning is that this does not appear to be an isolated incident. Numerous online reviews for this shop mention poor customer service and highlight rude, dismissive behaviour from staff, particularly the girls working there. Clearly, there is a pattern that needs to be addressed. I understand that certain behaviours can be challenging, but staff are expected to remain professional, composed, and above all, compassionate, especially when dealing with children or people with disabilities. The way this was handled was deeply distressing, and no customer should be made to feel this way. If this issue is not properly resolved and the staff member involved does not take accountability for her actions, I will have no choice but to report this formally. This behaviour should not be tolerated, and I sincerely hope action is taken to ensure this does not happen to another family.

I've been a loyal customer at this shop for my shoes and bags for quite some time. However, I've recently had some disappointing experiences with the service from the female employees at the counter. It makes me sad to think I might not return, as I truly appreciate the range of products offered. I hope they can address this so that future customers have a better experience. Staff training or new employees are needed.

The staff were extremely rude at 248 Soho Rd, Handsworth, Birmingham B21 9LR, especially the lady who said she is Manager, I ask her for their complaint process she refused to give me any details, I have checked Poze Shoes Ltd on the Companies House there is no company registered under this name. I am requesting the owner of the shop to reply as soon as possible if I haven’t received the complaint process, then I will start an external complaint.

Lovely shoes and bags. Shame about the rude girls that work in there discussing their personal lives out aloud. It was like being in the audience on a Jeremy Kyle show. Just wished they shared their popcorn with me whilst they were talking with their mouths full. Classy! On top of that ignoring a customer who was trying to talk to the staff about a purchase she wanted to make. Diabolical service is all I will say
