   I had a truly disappointing experience at Magnet’s Solihull store. I visited to have five kitchen designs created and spent an hour with an assistant, who assured me the designs would be sent to me afterward. However, only one design was ever sent. When I called to follow up, the store manager informed me I’d need to open an account and return to the store to receive the remaining four designs. To my shock, he said he was “not bothered” by my business and suggested I go elsewhere if I wanted to. This level of service is completely unacceptable. As a customer, I expected professionalism and courtesy, but instead, I was met with indifference and poor communication. I’m deeply disappointed and would not recommend this store to anyone.

   Got an amazing kitchen. Everything was straightforward, they reply immediately to any queries. We were helped by Andreea, absolutely lovely and great knowledge and experience. The fitter Andy, did an amazing job and again replied to queries after hours to help us dealing with an external (and pretty terrible) worktop company. They are not the cheapest but we couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. Going back I'd definetely get the worktop from them too as they would sort everything start to finish is a much smoother way.

   Cannot comment to the design/kitchen aspect but 2 appointments cancelled within a span of 3 days. Had taken time off of work to go for an instore design appointment so this was not ideal.

   One person eventually did come up to us and she was great. The others looked and then looked away. Thing about independents they look after their customers, here it's about what time is shift over. 4 stars only for the lady that did speak to us and was knowledgeable.

   I don’t usually write reviews, but honestly this place could do with some customer service training. Not even a greeting, we looked around the whole store there weren’t any other customer around. But they couldn’t even crack a smile never mind asking us what kitchen we’re looking to purchase etc!!

   Fantastic service from Magnet all the way from designing to fitting our new kitchen, I’d highly recommend them. Andrea in the showroom was lovely and so helpful, she understood we were on a budget and didn’t try to persuade us into expensive features we didn’t need, which other retailers previously tried to do. The final quote was £2000 cheaper than for an almost identical kitchen from Wickes. Our Magnet fitter Richard was also fantastic, asking for our opinions on all the little details and only took three days to get the job done. The only issue was that fitting was delayed by 4 weeks as our original fitter had to isolate due to Covid and Magnet couldn’t find a replacement last minute, but that wasn’t anyone’s fault so no matter.

   Magnet did our kitchen in 2009 and still it is in great shape. The guarantee for the cabinets was 15 years so they have come and fixed a a few minor issues at no cost. We changed our fridge to Samsung and they are going to come and change and set the panels for the new fridge freezer at a fair price. William McCulloch is an excellent manager who is very helpful. No wonder they have scored top Which ranking for 2019!

   I think the Kitchen Designer in Solihull thought of everything for me. All I have to do now is find a little more cash for her design. She was very patient and came up with a fantastic result.
