   Nick on the paint section was unbelievably helpful, not just with me but with everyone. He was able to sort out the issue I had and was friendly throughout. Have used B&Q Ashton quite often lately, never had any issues, and staff like Nick are the reason why.

   Terrible! I wanted to pieces if skirting board. 24" and 33" I walked round and round and asked 3 staff if anyone could assist me. The assistant was unengaged. Said I need to buy an 8ft length. I told him I could not get that in my car. He said some people buy a saw and cut it in the car park??? I was left in shock! Total waste of a journey.

   Had our time wasted as the current store manager does not allow the Valspar colour match technology to be used - they will only advise on what their closest Valspar colour equivalent is… which is obviously a different colour. Very helpful lady working on the shop floor advised us to go to the next closest B&Q store a 15 minute drive away, where they happily matched the exact colour we wanted.

   Good selection of products in a well organised space. Price is ok, but can be expensive compared to some other retailers. It always seems like there are very few staff available to ask anything, but the staff on the tills are always helpful.

   Has very good collection, when Stockport branch gone out if stock my go yo branch is AshtonULane. Has big parking with disabled access, very helpful staff, I really like this branch.
