Poor customer service since removing the checkout in the collect parcels area. Also the manned checkouts in foid are often closed so you have to use self checkout.
Can REAL people please answer the phone? A simple yes or no would be sufficient to tell me if an item is in stock before making a five mile cycle trip. If this is the way of the future we wonder why so many are off their heads on antidepressants!
Come in here often it is a bit pricey but you do get what you pay for. The fresh fruit always looks amazing and is impossible to not pick up they sell plenty of meats and desserts, many different wines and plus many other things. They do sell some clothing and underwear too. I always get my gapes and strawberries from here because they just seem to be the best here.
Marks & Spencer in Castleford is a great shop food&veg are always fresh some clothes I can buy there too obviously it's only a small shop so they don't have everything. Staff are welcoming & very helpful they will always order clothes for you to pick up in store. I would really miss this shop if it were to close . So everyone get behind the staff to keep the store open.
I love having a M&S so close to where I live and love the 'dine in for two' deals. The only draw back I would say is the accessibility with a pushchair. I came to a door that said "Caution, automatic doors" which would have been great if they were working. Thankfully there was another customer that was very helpful and held the doors open for me. I would have struggled to do it myself and I'm just glad I wasn't in a wheelchair as it would have been almost impossible.
