    There are not many builders merchants like this anymore. I live in Stockport but happily travel 30 mins to get my materials from here. Well stocked, helpful staff, easy parking and loading. Prices are fantastic especially in a time when prices for materials are so high. There is a wide range of brands and parts and you can see they source well as items from exterior facia and guttering, to floor leveller and plumbing connections are all good quality at decent prices. The best bit are the lads. Loads of friendly banter and they have done diy themselves for years so can advise or link you up with local trades. They remember everyone’s name. I wish more shops and retailers were like this as the world would be a better place for it. Shout out to Phil, Barry and Walshy who always make the visit worth while. The only downside on the last visit was Barry couldn’t help load me up as he’s done his shoulder and ribs. Either give up mountain biking matey or get the stabilisers and bubble wrap out.
