A frustrating and inefficient company to deal with. You'll likely not get your package and then they will make you jump through hoops to get a refund (which you wont get). I provided clear evidence that a package had not been delivered but they continued to gaslight me to avoid any responsibility. They are running a scam. Avoid at all costs if you value your money and sanity.

Very poor service, and it's starting to look like a scam. I ordered a large can of outdoor paint at an amazing price. It started off really well - dispatch and delivery were both quick. However, the arrival of the parcel was where the awful customer service began. They had sent me the incorrect product - a much more inferior product that was absolutely no good to me - but I understand that people make mistakes, so no harm done in itself, but obviously I needed the item I had ordered. I contacted customer service, who advised that I could either have a refund or replacement on return of the item - a return that they paid for - absolutely fine. I asked for a replacement, because, again, I still needed the correct item, and was then told that they didn't have any more in stock - fine, a refund it would be. The parcel got collected from me on the 4th August - it's now the 11th September and I'm still awaiting my promised refund. I emailed them on the 28th August, but they've not responded, and it's now 2 weeks later. My advice? Avoid like the plague

Really good service, prompt delivery, good price. My only negative comment is really about Evri the delivery people, Even though the box was labelled this way up as it was a tin of paint they literally take no notice and just chuck it any old way up. It did actually leak a little bit. Maybe a more obvious sticker or something saying IMPORTANT THIS WAY UP - PAINT!!

My shopping experience with JDS has been good, however, despite substantial packaging the can of ronseal mahogany satin stain/varnish arrived dented (I put this down to mishandling by your carriers) The good news is that the contents arrived in good condition without any spills. This is intended as constructive advice and not criticism and will hopefully help ou as feedback. Cheers MSS.

What a joke of a company. Ordered paint over a week ago. No item delivered or even sent. Tried to blame Royal Mail even though the tracking showed as not even received by them. I had to contact them for my money back. Emailed them and the reply email was a refund email. Others words the company didnβt even send it. No sorry from them either. Absolutely rubbish Please donβt use this company. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt after reading all the other complaints. JDSβ¦.Just Donβt Send. DIY Never again.

Update to original post. Avoid this company, after a lot of back and forth with email the wrong delivery item was collected 2 weeks ago (Royal Mail tracked) and I have had to get Amazon to push them for a refund which I have finally got today over 2 months since the wrong item delivered. Unacceptable. Original post: Had a very bad experience with this company via their Amazon storefront. Ordered a small bag of Horticultural Grit for my plant pots, they sent me a heavy bag of Concrete mix by mistake. (It arrived with Royal Mail delivery and the postman was really angry at having to deliver such a heavy item.) They then sent 2 emails pressuring me into keeping it with a discount. I am a retired disabled lady and have no use for concrete. They expected me to make the arrangements to return it, I can't even move it from the side of my doorstep and I am still waiting for them to resolve this mistake. They simply don't seem to care or even make any effort to understand how this is a problem for me. Update re the reply made by JDS below. I have indeed got the right company as they have replied to my email but I should not have had to push the problem in this way to get a result!

Hello, I'm very unhappy about my purchase of some paint from yourselves via the Amazon Web site, it should have arrived yesterday at latest 8pm, but unfortunately didn't arrive. I contacted amazon, and via their chat line, was told if I didn't receive it by Tuesday, to contact them again. I therefore tried direct to the company, six calls so far, and no one has picked up. I'm so angry, & upset by this as a family member took time off work specifically to help with the decorating, which now will have to be put off till another time, please be more mindful of your customers JDs DIY.

What a joke with this company, ordered multi purpose primer, sent wood primer, spoke with Tia and she emailed me return label for refund, made another order for the same paint, few days later, again sent the same wrong paint. After reading all this negative review, not sure if I would take a chance to return as probably lose out money. Maybe take it as a loss and keep it. Should have read this review before purchase.
