   My local one on Moorside Rd, easy parking, outstanding customer service whether DIY or Trade. Feels you matter to them as an individual. Feels like family and am a regular DIY er. All staff helpful, go the extra mile for you , friendly, professional, knowlegable. Tend to use tgeur eady, efficient Click and Collect- totally user friendy efficient - get text message when order ready to collect. Comorehensive stock but, if not in stock, relisbly get it next day. Special thanks to Alex and Stacey today for great service and kindness abd Virginie on previous visit. Highly recommend the store and pricing is competitive , quakity great as a bonus.

   The staff was extremely rude from the moment I walked into the store and refused to help me. Before I even said a word, he insisted that I search for the product I needed on the iPad and then take it to the cashier. I explained that I was just looking for a dimmer switch, but he immediately responded sarcastically, saying: “I don’t know your taste for dimmer switches.” I clarified that I only needed a basic white one, but instead of helping, he just pointed at the iPad again and replied sarcastically: “I don’t know about dimmer switches, I’m not an electrician.” He kept insisting that I use the iPad rather than offering any assistance. I later heard from someone else that they also experienced the same type of behavior from the late-shift staff at this store (which is when I visited the store). It seems that the employees working evenings are unhappy with the extended hours (open until 8 PM) and intentionally act rude to discourage customers, possibly hoping that management will cut the late shifts.

   I deal with multiple branches and this is the worst branch to deal with, never used to be this way. Rudeness and sarcastic comments do not make the visit here pleasant, try some common decency and show a little respect. Not everyone is comfortable with all technology, trying to force someone into using something that they are not comfortable with shows a total lack of customer care, making sarcastic comments in front of other customers in an attempt to embarrass a person shows you have no concept of manners at all

   I needed just one small screw for a suitcase retractable handle and although screw fix sell in larger quantities, the manager very kindly found me a couple of suitable screws which he refused any payment for! Thankyou for a very kind gesture

   Having been totally ignored for many minutes, (even though the shop was empty) I was a little surprised when an employee walked straight past me and started typing into a nearby work station and a second employee started to attend to another customer who had entered the shop some time after me. The first employee then refused to come to talk to me when I said I would like to ask a question. I won't deal with rude people and I will spend my money elsewhere. q

   Amazing visit. We popped in today around 12pm without pre-ordering so were wary about what would be available, but we were served and helped by a super friendly woman with short blonde hair, she advised us on the best products to get and the availability, and was so chatty for the whole transaction. We are so pleased with our visit today and the great customer service received.
