   Shop is freezing cold I walked out shocking how cold it is. Feel sorry for the staff matalan obviously don’t give 2 hoots about staff or customers avoid the place

   Came in late on Thursday panicking, looking for a suit because I had a wedding Friday (I thought it was Saturday). Had no idea what I was looking for, or how to measure a good fit. Asked a lad for help, Young lad called Sam (Smith?) was brilliant from start to finish. Very polite and friendly and helped me get the right stuff in the right size. Really can’t thank him enough, he went above and beyond to help. Had a great time the next day at the wedding, and the suit was very comfy. Once again, thank you Sam.

   Changing rooms closed! Why oh why Had lots to try on. Had to leave the lot and go elsewhere. Cannot understand the reasoning behind it for the life of me. Not going again

   I'm fed up of there being only one person on the tills when returning things iv waited up to 40 minutes then they walk off and help people who cant work the self service tills which are very tricky to use, its a nightmare I wont be buying anything else everything iv bought lately is far to big I cant stand for long so wont be shopping there anymore iv bought most of my clothes there for 20 years and disappointed with the clothes latley not the same !!

   A bright and well laid out store, the mens department could have more choice, but the women's and children have a good selection to suit all age groups. Prices to suit all budgets.

   They discount items, say from £10 to £5 but they don’t add the price change to the self scan machines… We bought quite a few items and had never used these tills before…. A young girl kindly helped us & scanned everything for us. When we got home we noticed the discount hadn’t been applied, so we paid £10 instead of £5.. This might not seem a lot but with the cost of living as it is at the moment it would have been better in our pockets than a large store. We are both in our mid 60s and will probably chalk it up to experience as it will cost at least £5 to get back the £5.
