   Just visited Matalan Chester on Stadium Way. What a load of rubbish clothes they had for ladies, very small selection, all horrible clothes, not one nice thing caught my eye. Changing rooms clothes left in cubicles, messy and smelly, the store overall was depressing. Was shocked and soooooo disappointed with clothes and store. Seen better clothes and stuff in charity shops, will be going g there instead

   How times have changed. Once upon a time this place would have been heaving on a Saturday afternoon with the new school year just around the corner! On a positive note the shop was full of stock and didn’t look half empty like the local store in Rhyl does. The place is looking tatty with faulty front doors and general age related signs of decay. Good to see it still going, and I guess investment costs but hopefully plans in the future to tidy it up.

   Richard at Chester branch was great to deal with. Explained clearly the process, the grading of the car, and what I should expect once completion was done. Would highly recommend him to others and considered him exceptional at what he does. Great experience, far better than I imagined to be honest. An easy 10/10.

   Fitting rooms had dirty mirrors and dirty floors. Considering the fact that the store was not busy and staff was able to just chat with each other this is not acceptable.

   Good range of clothes, but the worst self service check outs on the high street. Took ages for someone to come to give assistance and they had problems.

   Feeling quite annoyed by Matalan. I ordered 3 items which I will need for my holiday in 2 days. I order last week and I paid extra for click and collect for Saturday and it is now Monday. Apparently my items should be delivered by today but they aren’t sure. My order was going to be cancelled and ‘lost in transit’ if I hadn’t called and complained. High irritated by this!!! Customer service is not what it should be.
