Staff are helpful and friendly at this store, it always appears clean and tidy. Parking is free for customers.
Very very very rude service - I just wanted to pay for my items. Huffed and puffed over asking for a bag - when I had lots of stuff! Thank you to the older woman for such bad service

My friend tried to return a jumper before Christmas which she hadn't worn. The female staff member which she spoke to at the tills was incredibly rude to her and insisted that she had worn the item which she'd bought two days ago. She obviously hadn't and the tag was still on. This member of staff then took the item to her manager and removed the tag, insinuating that the tag had already been removed. The way my friend was spoken to left her very upset as she felt she was being called a liar. Horrible behavior from both staff and manager here.
Used to be good, really good selection of goods. Not a good selection now, and what they did have wS rather cheap and nasty. Would help if the girl on the till did her job properly and didn't chat to another member of staff about her gas bill when I'm waiting to be served
Matalan is a great shop, went to buy some black jeans and the shop did not disappoint, I came away with 2 pairs of the style I wanted , great shop.
Decent range and good prices. Shame about the staff constantly pushing the self service, but clearly this is a management decision and they never live in the real world
I like Matalan, often get a good sale item. The full priced clothes are always good value and decent quality.

Really poor experience on two occasions with DPD pick up in Bromborough store. Collected first parcel Saturday morning and took 5 minutes to find as had been misplaced. Went back in the afternoon to collect another parcel that had been delivered at 2:30 and by 3:45 they could not find it. So will need to go back again in the hope that they have found it.
