   No air-con in the sweltering heat of summer, Freezing in winter, No public toilet, 1 star. Unhelpful management, faulty tills. Awful shopping experience. Cannot recommend.

   The card reader didn't work at the first till I tried to pay at and I was kept waiting a while until they decided I'd gave to go to a different till. There was absolutely no tinned fruit on the food isle, which was disappointing. The choice of small homewares is impressive.

   Called in yesterday to pick a few items up and saw a bat with an attached ball looked like a monsters Inc emblem and thought it would be ideal for my granddaughter, fair enough, it was cheap at £1.00 but on next aisle there was a reduced box with miscellaneous items at 50p, and there were at least 10 of the bat/balls with no package in there so I thought bargain!!! Took said items to checkout and explained to the nice saleswoman it was in reduced box but needed a barcode, eventually got a colleague to find it, she came back with item in wrapper, I tried to let her know they weren't on aisle the wrapped ones were on but next aisle, off she went ,then a rather sour looking,presumably supervisor came to checkout and when again, explained they were on another aisle in a reduced box (which by the way, had a big sign on stating 50p), she said " oh, it's probably just kids taking them out of the wrapper", by this time I had lost the will to live and just paid for the £1.00 item, okay, it's only 50p, fair enough, it's more the lack of customer service we experienced, having worked in the retail sector for many years, you just don't treat paying customers like that.

   A massive choice of items and mostly amazing prices. The quality of some garden and home items are a bit iffy but also some where the quality was very good too. Friendly staff too .Well worth a visit and will definitely go there again.

   Prices really low, but low stock levels a problem .You are taking a chance if you require a specific item that it will be in stock and The high posibility of a wasted journey if your are going for specific items. The staff are polite and try to be helpful but they say they dont know when and if they are getting more stock of items when you ask for products that are out of stock. For prices I would have given 5 stars but seems there are as more items out of stck than in stock at times.
